Hmm...
The Witcher(Enhanced Edition) is good, but it has some core design problems. You have to constantly run from one end of the map to the other. the combat is acceptable but still pretty dull. It's not always clear what you're supposed to do next, and there's little to no detective work involved in finding out, just fucking around until the plot continues. The story and characters range from passable to pretty damn good, Garalt(Or however the fuck you spell it) is kind of a boring protagonist if you ask me, not blank enough to project onto, and not developed enough to really get behind, and a lot of the usual cast is pretty one note. There are some characters that are pretty interesting, like an Elven rebel leader who walks an interesting line between separatist and extremist, but they only show up every now and again. The plot is fairly standard, some guy fucks with you, so you gotta fuck him and all his friends back, but first you gotta find him. The best part of the game is the world it takes place in which is richly detailed with lots of intriguing conflicts that go on backstage, and your decisions have genuine consequences, and though it's blunt, having Garalt outright explain how things could have gone differently really brings out the reactivity of the story and makes up some of the best moments in the game. If you're a hardcore PC RPG player, and you miss the classic fantasy setting, then look up some gaemplay for yourself and see if it's your cup of tea.
Other then that, just play anything else that's already been mentioned.

Dragon Age: Origins(Vastly superior to 2)
Mass Effect 1 and 2
Fallout: New Vegas(Give it time)
KotOR 1 and 2(The age shows, but they're still really good)
