First point; only Ticks & Leeches and -maybe- Hooker with a Penis have screaming in them. Second point; the time issue is an opinion. Personally, I love longer songs, and I know many other people who share that idea. Third point; pretentious? Not exactly. Most of the lyrics have deeper meaning, and I'll concede that a few are rather pretentious, but most are not. I would have posted a song with this, but you said 'majority,' so that would have left the rest of their songs up for questioning. Songs that I don't think fit what you addressed would be Schism, Parabola, Cold & Ugly, Stinkfist, Hush, and Prison Sex. -=Nods.=- Those are just off the top of my head, and I tried to keep them under, like... Six and a half minutes, I think.

Rap can is either considered a genre in of itself, with several sub-genres and cross genres, or a sub-genre of hip hop with further branching sub-genres.
