Post Rock has no vocals whatsoever!
Aha, I can do this one.

Oh, how could I forget:

I really love my post-rock.
Btw I love post-rock as well im just trying to find things people might see in this genre and instantly stereotype.

My favorite post rocks bands at the moment are:
Explosions In the Sky, This Will Destroy You, Godspeed You! Black Emperor, Yndi Halda, and Mum!
see there! haha but I think I'm going to like mar and Sigur Ros A LOT!

Hmm i wouldn't really consider the first one post-rock it would fit better in another genre. It is good though I'm enjoying these songs! :D

The second one is really good Very enjoyable!

mm the third one was filled with all sorts of happiness made me smile! really good on that one! xD

wtf! the fourth one was like mum but I don't know a different sort of trip O.O nice.. thanks for the music! I'll be sure to check all of them out!
Im happy to be spreading some more post-rock to people, particularly Mar, such an underrated band.

I'd also suggest listening to some Followed By Ghosts, New Century Classics and This Will Destroy You.

Pretty much the reason I don't really like Classical music..

You also have some pretty narrow view on music.. I'd advise you branch out a bit. You'll live longer =)
You lose, get out.

Also, I do have other tastes. I enjoy rock and classic rock to an extent. Though very few of the bands these days make it.
I lose huh?

I wont drop the "Its your opinion card" because that's a little lame. So what reason do you have?

Also - Seriously, chill out.

Oh, really. I had no idea that porch monkey was a racial slur. Thank you for giving me such knowledge. Now excuse me while I don't give a damn.
And you called me uneducated... silly girl. :)

Now I can add another proven fact about Classical Music other than it being boring... it is also defended tooth and nail by racists! :D

Honestly guys? You're still entertaining him? Really? Just report him and return to the actual topic of the thread. Seriously. =/

But to keep -this- post on topic... Can someone disprove the stereotype that a cover of a song can never be better than the original? =o
Madworld...
I had a feeling this would come up. Heh. Both versions a good in different ways... But I'll have to concede that Jules' version is both more well-known and better for the song content.
I personally enjoy both but I couldn't think of anything else right now other than Madworld...

You're still trying? I'm sorry, you already lost. Rap is a genre. Your examples? Cross genres. You want the explanations behind it? Well, first off, use some common sense. Sprinkle a dash of do your own research and educate yourself.

To your points about hip hop, like I said earlier. You could make the push to make rap itself just a sub genre of hip hop that incorporates it all. And some people do accept this definition of it. Thus making that stuff irrelevant.

Now shoo. Go off to do your research.

Also, I love when you damn foreigners and the like use "But English isn't my first language!" I don't give a damn. If you can't use it correctly, don't use it at all. You don't see me butchering your damn native tongue.
You know why I'm still trying? Because *gasp* I'm actually interested in your point of view. It's different from mine and I might learn from it, even when it's presented in such a vile manner. You're making a point, I'm asking for the foundation of that point, but all you do is restating that point and telling me to fuck off.

I haven't lost the argument and I haven't won it either. There never was an argument in the first place, all you did was restate your initial point that rapping is a musical genre and make an as of yet completely unfounded argument of authority. All you did was "It's like this because they say so!" Such an educated individual like you must know that that's a logical fallacy.

If you don't want a discussion, just say so instead of acting like an asshole. This only gets you banned.

As for English, only by using it you can actually get better at it. Good gods man I misspelled a word, what the hell is your problem?

Well Bob Dylan said that Jimi Hendrix's cover of song All Along The Watchtower was better than the original he made himself.

Oh, look. Another simple minded person who doesn't understand the difference between troll and asshole.

You know what? For saying a falsehood with intent against me, I consider you a troll. I am now going to report you.

See? I can corrupt the meaning of troll too.
Troll
In Internet slang, a troll is someone who posts inflammatory, extraneous, or off-topic messages in an online community, such as an online discussion forum, chat room, or blog, with the primary intent of provoking other users into a desired emotional response or of otherwise disrupting normal on-topic discussion. In addition to the offending poster, the noun ?troll? can also refer to the provocative message itself, as in that was an excellent troll you posted. While the term "troll" and its associated action, trolling, are primarily associated with Internet discourse, media attention in recent years has made such labels highly subjective, with 'trolling' being used to describe intentionally provocative actions outside of an online context. For example, recent media accounts have used the term "troll" to describe "a person who defaces internet tribute sites with the aim of causing grief to families."

You're correct. There never was an argument. Mainly because you had no ground to stand on and basic facts deny your every point. Also due to the fact that you are like a child compared to myself.

My problem is that you're a foreign oaf.
Yeah Bartholomew Auldwinckle, your taste in movies and music makes you a real prodigy. Here's another stereotype which I challenge you to break: You can't find a post by Kaimo09 that isn't compensating for his small penis.
