I once looked for the remote controller for the TV for about an hour when I found out that I've ahd it in my hand all the time.. >.>
Other TV related idiot moments is the time at our summer house, we ahd this TV that didn't have a remote control, but still I went around looking for the remote control for it..

I've also fell UP stairs, sat down in a bowl of cereal, fell backwars, flat on my back on pure asphalt while walking etc.

One time, I stuck my index finger in a stapler and tried to see how hard I could push down before it actually stabled. Surprisingly, I wound up stapling my finger.

I had a good five minutes in the washroom with some tweezers to think about how stupid that was.

Put my cellphone into the fridge and then used my mom's phone to call a friend and asked her to call mine so I could find it.

I don't remember any recent events, although there are many, but I think I should mention something that happened this weekend that affectd me.
I was watching a ballgame played by my shcool when someone shoots the ball towards the audience. The person next to me stretches out to catch the ball with her hand... the same hand she's carrying a youghurt in. Yeah... that was a h**l of a mess.
A personal is when I was trying to look cool in front of a girl at a bar, and leaned my arm on the bardesk only to remember that it was 1 o'clock and the bar was soaked in alcohol. It was my good shirt to.

Well one morning I had a bowl full of yogurt and two sandviches, I proceeded to throw it all in the trashcan without even looking at it. When I was standing outside of my apartment I finally realised what I had done...

I frequently ask people if they've seen somehing of mine whilst I'm using it.
The best one? I asked my friend, over the phone, if he'd seen my mobile, as I needed to find a number in my contacts. I was *using* my mobile....

I keep flooring myself, by walking quickly past the same door, and getting my clothes caught on the door handle - and, I end up lying on my back. It usually happens when I'm carrying something.

Recently though?
In a sleep deprived moment, I put toothpaste on a hair-brush. After working out that I couldn't fit that brush in my mouth, I remembered that I had to brush my hair...so I brushed my hair with toothpaste.

The other day my girlfriend and I went to get a cheesecake to have at a family dinner. I decided to carry the cake. I tripped with my first step out of the shop on nothing, throwing the whole box at the ground. I instinctively tried to catch it, but only hit the box harder, sending it down to the ground even faster....

The only one I can think of is when I went to answer the phone, I picked it up but I couldn't hear anyone on the other end. Then I realised that I had mistaken the TV remote for the phone. I felt like such an idiot afterwards.

I've done that before... 'twas awesome. I tripped, slid on my knee for several feet, then popped right back up. It was almost out of a sitcom...

As for something stupid I've done now... Hahah, I'm procrastinating on a project due tomorrow. A 4 page paper on 'The American Dream'.

Hey, here's a thought. Since when did 'English' mean 'American'?
For full marks, quote Watchmen.

I dare you.

DO IT!

The most recent one was probably capsizing on a completely flat section of water while kayaking. It was around then I realised I also hadn't quite sealed my kayak with my spraydeck - it came off, and I had little choice but to take a rather embarrassing swim. Wonderful.

As the title may suggest, what is something stupid you've done recently where you've actually taken a moment to acknowledge how stupid it was?
As for me, I tripped on the ground.
No, not something on the ground, not even the curb, I tripped over flat ground.
My friend trips and chokes on air all the time.

Me, and I cursed my stupidity after this, I was pouring myself some milk,, a tiny bit started dripping down the cup while I was holding it, so I went to lick it (in my defence it was late at night and that's how I roll) and in the process tipped the mug slightly to the side letting a whole lot more pour out.

That's when I had an out of body experience, I could see myself in front of myself going -_- "what the fuck... you moron."

Oh and another situation, though I maintain this wasn't really a feat of stupidity as I had never used the machine before.

My brother was copying something using his faxer/printer/photocopier and told me to open it and look inside, I told him I could see no problem with it on the inside, he replied telling me to look at what it says on the screen, so I read it out loud "Close the p--- fuck." and so I closed it and read again.
