Sorry for the misleading title,
I would just ask him what the most fulfilling way to go through life is. I mean, if there's no hell, then maybe revenge and retribution are the best ways to handle your problems (although, to be honest, the Christian bible seems to advocate that any time it can.)
Also, I didn't put this in Religion because it seems a bit less serious than the other threads there.
EDIT: Also, for the record, I'm an atheist. (But that doesn't mean I have no morals, I still follow the majority of the catholic standards in that department.)

Well okay. I just picked a Lovecraftian diety since, in all honesty, I actually find the Lovecraftian dieties to be a lot more probable gods than that humano-centric figure which the Abrahamitic religions worship.TomLikesGuitar said:

Somehow the idea of alien godlike beings with minds equally alien and more akin to natural forces than anything comperhensible seem a lot more "in synch" with how the observably universe works. Whereas the idea of a benevolent but judgemental "human" who supposedly created everything, certainly come across as a desperate attempt by the feeble minded people in trying to make themselves feel less "alone" in the cold black and inhuman universe which surrounds them.
It's pretty human to want a feeling of someone watching your back. The thing is, the universe is far from human in nature but utterly alien. And that's what Lovecraft extrapolated upon in truly ingenious ways.
Anyway, if we assume that God is a sort of proto-human with goals and motives and whatnot, but possessed by omnipotence I'd guess I would go with the classic:
"Can you create a rock so heavy that even you can't lift it?"
And then I assume the universe would implode on itself or something. XD
That's what heaven, hell and a mysteriously invisible 'bigger picture' are there for. You can't claim they haven't (/aren't) been punished. As for the benevolence thing, it's apparently evil to mind control people/eliminate free will.KefkaCultist said:

I just checked and unfortunately you can't. I would ask the dude where he is. Assuming any *thing* in existence must actually exist as a thing (confusing, I know...), I would be interested to know where God is.
