The Longest Journey didn't really need a sequel. It got one. It was pretty good, but unnecessary.

As for Bioshock, I'm still in two minds about the whole thing, I mean, it could very possibly completely fuck up the whole canon and make replaying Bioshock one difficult, then again, it could be a veritable Godfather II of sequels. It's just impossible to tell because they can't show or tell us much of the plot.
The canon in the first game was well...silly to begin with...and I never liked Jack.

As for BS2

you = big daddy = pure concentrated awesome

I hope they don't come out with a sequel to bayonetta, maybe a DLC side story but not a sequel.

I think that star wars battlefront 1 shoulda been the only one. Two was not as fun, but i could never really put my finger on why
I found this. Although it was an improvement in size, graphics, unlockables, jedi, options, maps and a generally better HUD and interface, It just lacked the...magic...of the original. I think more games need to be like SWB, just pointless arena style wars (no objectives or anything, just kill kill kill and capture ground)
One just had a....feeling, a quality that made me keep playing until my fingers cramped up. Brilliant stuff.
In my opinion SW:BF1 had better levels and more freedom in the battles. The vehicles were better (actually rather overpowered) and the environments were more varied. BFront 2's single player was just running from one objective to the next and missing all the things to do in the process. I remember playing BFront 1 for hours on end because I was so immersed in the game. I think BFronts make the best impression of being part of the Star Wars universe, just because of the freedom.

But BFront 2 had jedis. DAMN those were fun to use.

Dead or Alive Xtreme Volleyball. It was a fighting game, right? And while we're on Team Ninja, why do we need an update for Ninja Gaiden games that barely are 1-year old. Twice.

And no more sequels for specific Final Fantasy games either, please.

Mario didn't need a sequel. Or at least it didn't need its seven hundred billion remakes.
For crying out loud, write something else other than "italian plumber goes on quest to save princess and/or kill frog lord".
Yes! How dare we make sequels for a game that belongs in a genre, where having sequels is actually a good thing!!

And while we're on the subject, how dare Beethoven write more orchestral compositions after Symphony No. 1!!
