Star Wars: Jedi Power Battles. It was on the old PS1. I used to play it when I was seven. I loved that game.

Second Sight

It was for PS2, you played a psychic guy who has amnesia.

Stereotypical, I know, but it was a great game nonetheless. I never beat it, I ended up getting stuck on the last level, so if anyone knows how it ends, I'd love to know.

Sheep Dog n' Wolf (aka Looney Tunes Sheep Raider).

The Incredible Machine (a puzzle game).

Midtown Madness 2 back from the 90's.

I'm sure no-one remembers them now.
Sheep Dog n Wolf ... God, it's been years since I played that game. In retrospect the makers of it must have been seriously high when they came up with some of the gadgets in it ...

Ooo! I forgot one. Operation Flashpoint. Despite the graphics being stuck in the late 90s it is still an awesome game.
I still love it to this day! It was one of those great games that nobody seemed to know about. I find that funny since it was supposed to have sold over a million copies.

Star Wars TIE Fighter, I'm the only person to ever bring that game up on these kinds of threads.

Dark forces?
Dark forces II: Jedi Knight?

Kyle Katarn? Anyone remember this?
I played df2 a bit, never had the chance to play through all the way. But it was a lot of fun. Still remember sniping someone out with a bowcaster at a distance where they were barely a few pixels high :]

Star Control II
One of the best games ever made and yet there's only a handful of people I know who've even heard of it...
Check out The Ur'Quan Masters.

Remake of the entire game. Awesome stuff.

Not sure if this has been said or not but Dungeon Keeper? It was fun, AND it had a perverse sense of humour. I liked the way it worked as well.

This topics been done, but whatever. I'll post the same two games I always list for threads like this.

Ranger-X for Genesis/Megadrive

And this. [http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q2-UpK0r2hY]

I know most people here will probably be turned off from the second one, but it's really a good fighter if you give it a chance. It's also got the most unlockables I've ever seen in a fighting game.

Its not really that old but I loved Freelancer and wanted to kill Microsoft after they canceled the second one (think of a much more dynamic version of X3 in which it doesn't take an hour to get anywhere).

That's because it's extremely popular. So was it's followup, X-Wing vs Tie Fighter. X-Wing Alliance was a bit less popular but it's still getting modded to use more detailed ship models (kinda like Freespace 2 since it went open source).

So are the first two Dark Forces games that someone mentioned. I don't have the first one but I still remember all the rest: Jedi Knight: Dark Forces II, Dark Forces II: Mysteries of the Sith and of course the amazing Jedi Outcast and Jedi Academy (best multiplayer lighstaber duels ever). I'm looking at the original boxes as we speak, sitting comfortably in my game collection. The original DF has been in development to get ported to a "newer" engine for ages (the Quake 3 engine that JO and JA are made on) but I guess that project's fallen a bit behind.

My entry to the thread would be Illusion of Time (also known as Illusion of Gaia):

That game was freaky. I mean really surreal and messed up. It was amazing.

WOW!! Blast from the PS1 Demo Disc past. Been years since i played that game... i was horrible at it.

Medievil 1 is still my most favorite game ever made (if my DP didnt give it away). They should remake this game 100% identical on the PS3... dont get me started on Medievil 2 and Resurrection, they were horrible. I so wish more people played this game. Daniel Fortesque was the greatest hero ever and the worst at the same time.
You, sir, are a wonderful person. How I loved MediEvil. A humourous hack-n-slash? No one's ever gotten that right before or since (I did giggle with glee with Shadow of Rome, but that's different).
Although I did like 2, but I never played Resurrection.
