Am I really the first to say The Empire Strikes Back? I know you mentioned the Star Wars prequels, but The Empire Strikes Back is generally regarded as the best Star Wars film and the bad guys are winning at the end. Surely that counts, right?

EDIT: Just noticed KwaggaDan said "Star Wars Episode 5". Apologies.

Dr. Horrible's Sing A long Blog.

Although you could have a serious discussion about who the good or bad guys really are. Or about who actually won in the end.
I'll back you up there. He wins, but he's lost the one reason he wanted to become a supervillian.. totally devestating ending. Myself, I'd argue you can't beat 1984 for *that* ending.

Pirates of the Carribean. Pirates end up winning. And we all know how horrible pirates are.
That was one I considered putting the in the Good column because none of the pirates can be considered good, only anti heroes at best. Even Lord Becket doesn't seem quite evil to me. He might be cruel, but his goal of a sea free of pirates would be good for law abiding seamen everywhere.

Nobody mentioned Reservoir Dogs or The Usual Suspects? Seriously, those are two of the best movies ever!
