Either Watchmen, or Riddick (the first, good one).

Watchmen is the only one I can come up with
I thought Rorshack (I have no idea how to spell that) won, seeing as his diary or what it was (been a while since I saw it) was found by the guy I don't remember who is, and thus it is insinuated that the story will be known to the world. Correct me if I'm wrong, it's been a while since I've watched it.
Rorschach sends his diary to a newspaper. They need something to fill the paper with, something stupider from a read to fill up a slot. Whether or not they actually pick up his diary and run with it is a mystery.

If they do, the new world built up by Ozymandias will crumble and everything will have been for nothing as the world slips back into war.

If they don't, the bad guy wins in creating world peace.

No one knows what happens. Kinda adds to the ambiguity of the ending and whether or not it Ozy's actions were justified.
Actually I'd say it also depends on whether you see Ozymandias really as the "bad guy". Sure, he kills thousands of people at the end, but at least he did it for a noble purpose. The Comedian on the other hand just enjoys violence and kills for the fun of it, regardless of purpose.
EDIT: actually, do we really need the spoilers? The film is out for nearly a year now, the comic for I don't know how long... just a thought.

Well I'm not sure if it exactly counts, but The Silence of the Lambs could count.
I mean, Hannibal Lecter does manage to escape and all. And in a sense, he sorta is an antagonist of the movie, just not as up front and main as the guy they were actually hunting down.

Damn that was a boring movie.

I see loads of people say 'No Country for Old Men', Jesus, I hated that film. Completely gratuitous and the story was just stupid.

Dark Knight, of course, as everyone says. Usual Suspects is the only one that springs to mind.

Star Wars Episode III and V.
Just realised the SIth win in both the second movies of the triologies.
Except Episode III isn't the second in the first trilogy?

The Sith kind of win in the entire prequel trilogy. Even though Maul and Dooku die, and the droid army gets raped on several occasions, everything serves Palpatine's purpose in the end.

Considering there's still the odd few people in the world that don't know who Kaizer Soze is, I'd say we do.

In the movie's case, I'd say he's a bad guy. In the comic book, not so much.

I kinda feel sick I'm okay with the complete destruction of one city, but not with many across the globe.

Dr. Strangelove. Crazy American general sends bombers to nuke Russia, U.S. and Russia scramble to stop the planes and prevent war, one bomber makes it to its target and BAM, nuclear holocaust.

Primal Fear is a CLASSIC film where the bad guy truly wins, such a good ending too. Also, I guess if you qualify Riddick as a 'bad guy' then Pitch Black and the Chronicles of Riddick. It's a little grey, because these days anti-heroes seem to be more popular than 'good guys'.

The following movies too;

- Braveheart
- Invasion of the Body Snatchers
- The Descent
- One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest
- Dawn of the Dead
- Inside Man
- Secret Window
- Match Point

Well im going to sound like a total jerk but...the title does say Great Movies...not terrible movies with a good starring actor....
There's an original... with Edward Woodward and Christopher Lee - please do not slander it by comparing it with the crappy remake.

I can't believe I forgot about this one. I saw it two weeks ago. Indeed a very good movie.

Damn Ninja'd.

But yeah the Joker was able to corrupt Harvey, which meant to cover their damages Batman had to take the blame and become Gotham's most wanted man.

Just to make sure everyone is on the same page, I think (read that as "should hope") he means the original Wicker Man and not the remake with Nicholas Cage.

Fight Club is the only one that hasn't been mentioned yet that I can think of.
Of course that all depends on whether you regard Tyler as the antagonist or not. Even if he "dies," his plan still succeeds. What a great movie...
