Braveheart and Dawn of the Dead (2004) don't really fit. In Braveheart they establish at the end that the Scots under Robert the Bruce won their freedom after the hero's death, so most of the good guys won. Dawn of the Dead doesn't fit because there is no proper bad guy, the zombies seem more like a force of nature. They both certainly qualify as GREAT though.Jinjiro said:- Braveheart

I was looking through to see if anyone said that one. I would have to agree with you 100% on that one.Jaqen Hghar said:Oh, and your avatar... can it be said that the bad guy wins in Fight Club?
Bad Guy(s) implies a group or individual. Zombies seem more like a force of nature or great disease.Rawker said:Define "bad guy" I could say Night of the Living Dead, in a way.Even though he survives, when the rescue party sees him, he's mistaken as a zombie and shot.
Have to disagree... the way i see it Doc's goal was to save his daughter from the devil which he accomplished. And Tony was the real bad guy and hanging by your neck is pretty much loosing ;P.mocruz1200 said:the imaginarium of Dr. Parnassus.
you knew that the bad guy was going to win about halfway through the movie
Happens in the movie too. Blowing up major cities to cause world peace that is, I don't recall if one was New York City specifically.Hannan4mitch said:What about great comic books? Because in Watchmen they pull a massive plot twist that has one of the "good guys" destroying half of New York to instigate world peace.
Never read the book with the extra chapter. It completely kills the messed up endingVaudevillianVeteran said:A Clockwork Orange. I'd say that Alex won technically.
