Turok 2 is still one of my favorites.

Both for consoles mind you, I didn't own or play any PC FPS's other than Counter-Strike.

i am SADDENED by the lack of unreal/unreal tournament answers in this thread... i mean yeah doom and half life were good. wolfenstein was good too but noone cares about unreal.. noone.... my top ten weapons in games are
1.Enforcer
2.Dual enforcers
3.flak cannon
4.chainsaw (from l4d2)
etc etc etc...

There is FPS and then there is Starsiege Tribes. The greatest FPS of all time. The only one that requires skill. All other FPS after that is just dull

I really enjoyed XIII when it came out. The cellshaded violence was fun to look at, the story was very hookable and well told in that comic panel type style. And i really dug the multiplayer. many, many of hours playing that game. To me that was THE shooter on the Xbox.

Honorable "back in the day" PC mentions to of course Duke nuke'um and Redneck Rampage.
