id have to say that i really enjoyed "The End" battle in MGS3 snake eater. was a very interactive battle and could take a very long time.

i also enjoyed the battle with Sniper Wolf in MGS1.

come to think of it most of those MGS boss battles in all of the games have been enjoyable. Fat Man from MGS2 was good too.

How could you guys forget the boss battle game... Shadow of the Colossus. Pretty much every single one was totally awesome.

Agreed. It's really hard to pick a favorite, although the first one stands out just because it's what made me appreciate the game's epic scale.

Best friggin' boss ever.

Yeah, he's pretty awesome. But mostly because of the mindfuck parts, and not the fight parts.

So true and am I the only one that enjoy the Killer Croc bit even if it was a bit easy
Also the bird flying collossi near the start of shadow of collossus

I found that it did tend to get a bit tedious towards the end of the fight but the atmosphere was fantastic. Overall I thought it was a very well put together fight given that you could never actually engage him directly (without getting eaten).
Mind you I don't think I can actually name a bad fight in Arkham Asylum overall it was just a fantastic game.

The Guardian from Painkiller. Not only is the most enjoyable but it's also the hardest (WAY more than the actual final boss) not to mention (being back in 2004) a real treat for the eyes since almost all the terrain and ruins between you and him were destructible.

These have to be my top 5. I really wanted to say The Dahaka, but he is a final boss if you play Warrior Within properly.

I think if they were a Mini-Boss it cuonts. Unless he could be the final boss in the same game. In that case. No.

Shadow of the Colossus. Flying boss. EPIC!

MGS3. "The End." A sniper battle in a dense forest area. It was so intense. Trying to sneak about in the grass without being seen and shot by a guy from somewhere you didn't know. Hs parrot came and searched for you too, and told him where you were, but I shot it and ate it. You could find him from the glint of the sun in his scope.
