Greatest Non-Final Boss in Gaming

Usually when we think of Greatest Boss, it mostly is the Final Boss. So What is the Greatest Non-Final Boss in Gaming?

I liked The Helmaroc King in Zelda: Windwaker. Or Doctor Steiniman.

The Helmaroc for it's flashiness, and Dr Stieniman for is build-up through the bloody Hospital and the scene where you see him go even crazier.

My vote goes to Twilit Dragon Argorok from Twilight Princess. That was just EPIC.

Are you kidding??? Ghoat was too bloody easy. I beat him by standing at the door and shooting him with an arrow every time he ran by.

I don't know what it's called, but the giant sand snake from LoZ:WW. It's fun to fight, even if it is pathetically easy.

I'd say fighting metal gear ray in metal gear rex was pretty awesome. Not sure if its my fave though, was just the first that sprung to mind.
