Don't Forget the original Resident Evil!

Nah, the original Resident Evil didn't have quality voice acting. It had 'So Bad, It's Good' voice acting.

To go against the grain of this thread, I present the worst voice acting.

That wasn't bad voice acting; it was INTENTIONALLY awkward, which a lot of people seem to miss.

If it says "Bioware" somewhere on the box, it has awesome voice acting.
I'll have to give the medal to Mass Effect 2 tho; Martin Sheen is awesome, especially when Seth Green and Jennifer Hale is there too.

I really enjoy Jennifer Hale's voice, particularly when she did Naomi in Metal Gear Solid. And let's not forget Mr. David "Metal.........Gear!" Haytar.

Breaking away from MGS, Liam Neeson was outstanding in Fallout 3 (the really only GOOD voice acting in that whole game, might I add..... except for President Eden, perhaps). Speaking of actors with great voices, why the hell hasn't Morgan Freeman done any voice acting in video games?

I believe that was Quark from Deep Space Nine. Can't remember the actor for the life of me though.

EDIT: Armin Shimerman. Came back to me straight after posting.

Merle Dandridge and Robert Guillaume in Half-Life 2 were excellent as Alyx and Eli. Nearly everything they said sounded like something an actual person would say, and not something clearly read off a script. Liam Neeson was also quite good as James in Fallout 3. Very...fatherly in tone. Let's see...Joe Kucan did an excellent job as Kane in the Command and Conquer series. Bonus points because he acted too. A bit of a LARGE HAM, but it fit his character well.

God of War had some great voice acting.

Kratos' voice is the very definition of epic and I don't ever use the word "epic"
Actually, it's not the definition of epic, since the definition of epic is a story that spans over a great passage of time and distance.

Sara Kestelman as Kreia in Knights of the Old Republic: The Sith Lords.

A sublime performance and a magnificent character.

So their excuse is "Well, we wanted it to be really bad?"

EDIT: I watched it again and I can see how the scene was meant to be AWKWARD, but the voice acting is still absolutely terrible. It could have been done far better and still kept the awkward chemistry that the scene required.

However, it's by no means the worst I've ever seen...

Amen(that's actually latin for 'agreed'), brotha. However, I'll throw in David Hayter and the guy who did otacon (his name escapes me at the moment) as well...and the guy that did Gray Fox.

Anyone else sick of hearing Nolan's voice?

John Patrick Lowrie. The TF2 sniper.
