I only own one gun. My .22 long Ruger.
Rifle or handgun? Either way, the Ruger .22s are just great bang for the buck.

Well I think my new favorite is my latest purchase, was stock when I got it (wood stock and forearm) but I did some modifying....
Rifle, my grandfather got a new one and gave me his older version. I some day hope to also get his revolver or get one of my own. It's a great little gun.
Awesome! I'm really looking into getting a Beretta 84FS or a Marlin 30/30, but for a cheap range gun, you just can't go wrong with a .22!

I live in the good ole USA.

I currently have a SxS Savage 12ga. produced in the 50's. It's quite a shotgun and in mint condition. I'm pretty lucky to have picked it up as it's hard to find side by sides anymore.

I also own an AR15 that I assembled. It's a 16inch colt upper, DPMS lower, free floating barrel, A3 style weaver rail system with collapse able stock. I like it.

Own 2 pistols. One is my duty weapon, sig saur 1911 5inch .45 cal GSR. The other is an HK USP 5inch .40 cal.

Out of all of them, I would have to say the shotgun is my favorite. I've always wanted one and I am happy that it's somewhat rare.

Remember to shoot safe, and be responsible.
Missed your post! How are the Sig 1911s? I'm assuming good if you're using it as your sidearm.

I want a firearm

but i have no clue on what to get??

But I do like certain guns

FN-P90
AUG
FAMAS
IMI Galil
AK-47
Kar 43
Kar 98
M1 Grand
Lee-Enfield
Get the firearm you like but if you want my opinion all gun collection should have these:

Auto Pistol
1. 1911
2. Glock (Any model, however model 17,19, 21, 22, 26, and 30 are prefer)
3. CZ-75B (the most cloned auto pistol in the world)
4. Browning Hi-Power
5. Beretta 92F (however they are not good for small hands).

Revolver
1. Any S&W
2. Any Ruger

Auto Rife
1. AR15
2. AK
3. FAL
4. M14
5. AR10/SR25

Bolt
1. Any Mauser Action.
2. Any Remington 700 Action.
3. Any Savage Rifle (Model 10 or 110 are prefer)

Shotgun
1. Remington 870
2. Mossberg 590

need to add a double barrel shotgun to that list and a old "western" style lever action, mybe a flintlock muzzloader won't hurt either if ur going for a gun collection

My favorite is my Kel-Tec SU-16CA. I took off the wobbly bipod and added the compact forend Kel-Tec sells then bought a real bipod. I bought it because I wanted a semi auto rifle that was adaptable and not too expensive.

Always liked the look of the USP, might look into getting one or a CZ-75, hear they're wonderful but the trigger sucks or something. Or you know, just go with a 1911. They just.. yeah.

Hey guys, it's been quite a while since I last posted anything, but now that I have a few things worth talking about I'm hoping to start posting again (as apposed to just lurking).

I've been meaning to start this post for way to long now, so I'm hoping this will act as a sort of placeholder push get me back into the habit again (although starting it at 11:50 on a work night might not have been the best idea).

So in the mean time, here's a few pictures to hint at the rest of my post;

Ruger .357 Blackhawk. Half because it looks like an old cowboy gun which is always neat and half because of sentimental value. It belonged to my uncle who I never met but would have liked to from all the stories I have heard. He seems to have been a person very similar to myself. I have several of his handguns but this one is my favorite.

I do not own any guns unfortunately because I'm broke, but I guess I favor H&K firearms. Actually, I like pretty much anything that fires a bullet.

For the ammo, is that 5.56NATO/7.62x39/7.62x54R and.... You know, I wanna say the pistol is .45ACP. Short and fat, at least in those images.

Also, I'm really looking forward to whatever you've got in mind. =p

EDIT: Fuck, I'm silly. That's not 5.56, that's 5.45!

I haven't had any experience with the Blackhawk line, how are they to shoot?(Assuming that you shoot. With sentimental firearms, I understand owning and not shooting)

Heh, if you're broke then H&K ain't for you. =p Any specific H&K you like, or just H&K in general?

I like HK in general. I know HK guns can be expensive, but I can dream can't I?

For a first gun, I was thinking about getting either a Tarurus 9mm handgun or a bolt-action Remington 770 (.308 and a cheaper variant of the 700 series). Both are roughly $300 each.

I have a couple Remington shotguns, nothing AMAZING but solid guns good for trap shooting.
My grandpa also recently gifted me an over under that shoots .22 on the top and 410's out of the bottom barrel. Only one I've seen like it so I thought it was pretty pimp.

The 700 is a nice rifle, I love mine, though I wouldn't mind a cheaper caliber to feed her (.30-06 is a little pricey).

My friend's got a Taurus in .40S&W ( I don't know what model), but he really likes it. I haven't had much to do with them myself, so I have no idea how they are.

WASR AK47

It was cheap ($300) - it is also cheap to shoot (1k round for $200) - easy to take care of (don't have to really clean it) - and it is fun to shoot at the gun range

I do shoot it. As a single action it has all the downsides of such but it is quite accurate. As a 357 you can get the cheaper 38 ammo for target shooting and a bit less recoil. I wouldn't use it as my choice for self defense due to the single action but as a target gun or a hunting gun I would recommend it. For self defense I carry my Glock 22.

Well, I should probably start explaining some of those pictures.

The ammunition in the last picture is 9mm reloaded from a mix that brass me and a friend picked up after a trip to the range a few months ago (We did look a bit silly, sifting through piles of spent casings for calibers we could reload, but it was well worth the several pocket-fulls of valuable brass we both left with). I used 124 grain Hornady heads, CCI small pistol primers, and loaded them hot (just under the maximum acceptable powder load).

Now to why I'm loading 9mm in the first place!

It's a very tacti-cooled High Point Carbine!
I was in the market for a pistol caliber carbine, and for $350 I just couldn't pass up such a good deal. Whoever last owned the gun sure loved it judging by the amount of accessories and custom parts it came with (the stock, scope, trigger, mag release, rails, and charging handle are all aftermarket), and I'm just itching to take it out to the range for a proper test run with some of my handloads.

P.S.

I got my USP .40 because of the smooth action in the slide. Can barely tell your firing a .22 let alone a .40 ... But it wasn't cheap.

Yeah HKs never known for 'cheap'. Though my friends and I DID come across a USP40 at a gun show a couple of years ago for like, $650. We couldn't believe it, and even after stripping it couldn't find anything actually wrong with it, other than being in severe need of cleaning.

We all walked out without it for some reason, and have been beating ourselves up over it ever since. To make ourselves feel better, we joke that it probably came out of a hobos colon, hence the discount.
