Can I not sleep without the potential of having my head blown off?

I mean, I do that now... cant I just go back to that?

The .454 Casull Auto and the Jackal Anti-Freak Combat pistol.

Holds seven shots, loaded with 13-millimeter explosive rounds, the core being made of silver melted from a cross at Lancaster Castle.

Fires a huge 13 mm, mercury-core bullet, with casings of blessed Macedonian silver.

Yeah, they would be too heavy to use and I probably wouldn't fight any freaks, but damned if it wouldn't make any criminal think twice.

...Of course, I wouldn't kill anyone. What, do I look like a psycho?

Real: Squirt gun.

Not real: Portal gun.

A real gun with actual bullets WILL end up turning against me, I just know it.

And teleporting would be pretty cool.

Got a Walther P38 next to my bed(don't think I will ever have a gun under my pillow), but I'm going to replace it with a CZ-97B in the coming months.
...that's quite the upsize there. Any reason you're going with the CZ-75's big brother instead of a more traditional .45?
I ask because this [http://i112.photobucket.com/albums/n182/loc978/Photos/IMAGE_00236.jpg] is my least favorite of all the guns in my collection. Still, I like it better than the 92Fs that I used on active duty...
As for the size difference I've never had an issue with .45s. Living in CA my options are limited and the features I would like make my options even more so. I like the 97B clip size, ergos, thumb safety, weight, and sights(the one I'll be picking up has night sights). The most common semiautos in the stores I go to are Berettas, Sigs, Glocks, XDs, and 1911s all good guns but either don't have the features I want, don't like the ergos, or simply too expensive.

Edit: If you know any metal frame .45s aside from the 1911 I am always open to suggestions. I don't know every gun on the market but I do try to take my time and research potential buys if you know any I missed I am willing to be schooled.
Dude, in CA you're limited to 10 rounds in any case, so magazine size should have no say in your choice.

A soft gun. Preferably one that shoots happiness and dreams about bunnies and naked goth chicks.

What were we talking about?

Yeesh, we have some rather pedantic replies going on here.

As for me, the gun/weapon I'd keep under my pillow/near my bed would be the Hero pistol from Fable 3. I'm sure that keeping it under my pillow would enchant it in some specific way.

44. Magnum Revolver

Small and accessible, has a small amount of recoil with decent stopping power in medium to long ranges. Will likely kill in 1 bullet at close range, has an accuracy spread of only three inches at 50 yards. Since the chest of your average human being is substantially more than 3 inches, you just need to aim in something's general direction to make it go away in the most extravagant fashion possible.
(Believe it or not, there is infact a 500. Magnum)

Standard Issue Imperial Flashlight.
Who needs lamps any more when you have a flash light? No need to get up and switch the light on, just reach into your pillow! Kill heretics and navigate in the dark! It's a double deal!

I'd go for either a simple .32 revolver, or a Beretta 92fs with an attached silencer......what I don't wanna attract any attention in-case I have to go bury the body of the dumbass who broke into my house.....and I'd also optionally have a shotgun on a rack on the side facing away from the door

... Why the hell would I want a gun under my pillow? Not only would it be uncomfortable but also incredibly unsafe... Might as well ask what gun I want shoved down the front of my pants.

None thank you.

[sub]Americans. sheesh. -.-;[/sub]
Hey Bond slept with one under his pillow.

Also the portal gun, I would keep one half of a portal planted say above my door. That way I could roll out of bed into a portal and butt slam my attacker. Or something I mean just owning a portal gun would rock.
