If I ever actually buy myself a gun, I very much hope it will be a Colt SAA.

Aside from owning what's probably the ultimate piece of Americana, I want to know exactly what it's like to actually fire one of them. It'll probably knock me on my ass - but I still wanna do it!

Gotta say, though, I also have a soft spot for the Mauser C96.

This was the first semi-automatic handgun to be mass produced in any significant numbers, but the most remarkable thing about it is still the construction. There are no screws or pins anywhere in the actual mechanism, and the weapon can be completely dismantled without tools of any kind. It's like a puzzle that can kill people!

(Incidentally, Han Solo's blaster started its life as a non-firing replica of one of these.)

Huh...did not know that.

Another thing in its favour, it has an integral magazine fed by stripper clips (or "chargers" if you prefer). So you can confuse pedant gun store employees by asking to buy a clip of 9mm.

If it interests you, the entire construction uses exactly one screw - which is actually visible in the picture. It's the one holding the grip scales in place!

Later models would also feature a pin to attach the trigger. But that's it.

I am disgusted in you all for not mentioning the Dubstep Gun from "Saints Row IV".

Looks sort of like Vash's gun, so I like it.

Not that i've ever fired anything beyond an airgun.

I own a mosin-nagant and a bolt-action .22. And they're cool I guess.

But you know what I really want? That's right!
Good luck firing that, or rather good luck healing your wrist/arm/chest afterwards.
There are human scaled Bolters, for Guardsmen, Sister o' Battle, Inquisitors and the like. I'll just take one of them and be happy.
Hell, they make Heavy Bolters for Guardsmen!

I badly want a bolt action rifle some day. There's a shop nearby that has regular specials on Mosin Nagants that bring them down to nearly affordable, so some day I will have one of those. But beyond that, there's a gorgeous wood stocked Remington that I would love to have:
I absolutely recommend finding a good condition Nagant. It was one of those things that the Soviets said "Don't fix what ain't broken" about and they RARELY did that when smashing the Tsarist state.

Also, *Boop* :D

Exactly why I want it! Stupidly simple, damn near impossible to really break, and cheap as hell XD
Figures the first thing I'd post on in ages would be about guns, eh? 'MERICA.

My two favorite guns from any game will always be the Morph Gun from Jak 3...
Seriously, look at all the crap it can turn into!
And the RYNO II from Ratchet & Clank 2: Going Commando.

There's something about revolvers that intruige me!
But if I could get something that shoots shurikens and lightning, I'm fine.

Mosin Lovin.
Grab one. They're relatively common and affordable, and the only trouble you should have is that the safety mechanism requires a bit of tough love and cyka blyat.

Some day, I'll have one. Some day.
After we move out of an apartment without room for a decent gun locker.

Nice. Mossberg all the way! So much common sense in their designs, like the tang safety and placing the slide release neat the trigger guard.

Lasgun from 40K. It's more powerful than a modern assault rifle, hardier than an AK, and can be charged via campfire. Shot charge can be modified to increase ammunition, fire rate, or damage, depending on what you need. And for some reason, despite it using lenses, light, and a battery, it still produces recoil.
