Half-life: a call to all the pc gamers out there.

I made this thread because of my growing concern that too many pc gamers haven't played the original half-life, half-life 2, half-life 2 ep 1, half-life 2 ep 2. I strongly recommend that everyone who hasn't played those, should definetly play them.

Btw read the whole thread, at least some pages, you will find that alot of people haven't played it so stop saying everyone has.

Actually, I'm pretty sure that everyone who are even remotely interested in FPS-gaming on this forum have played HL. Most of them anyway.

Who's a PC gamer and hasn't played the Half-Life games?

I've never played the first (too young; no copy; don't want to buy off Steam as I now have a widescreen and the res fucks every game over 5 years old up).

Love the HL2 sub-series though.

That's over 13 million copies of the one game. People will have likely been following the series from the first or from 2nd onwards (like myself) with sale figures like that.

And while everyone's at it, play Earthbound, DooM 2, Quake 3, Unreal Tournament, Day of the Tentacle, Myst, the Chzo Mythos, Serious Sam, about 4 billion obscure indie games and all those other games which get barely a mention on the forums of this site.

But I don't think that will happen.

Played through Blue Shift again recently.
(Quite a few months ago but not that long)

I loved it back then but I don't expect people to like "classic" games after I couldn't get into Diablo II.

I have played the original half-life when it first came out, same for half-life 2 and the episodes. It was groundbreaking technology every time again (except for the episodes) and that is why everybody should have played it no matter what.
