I sure hope this is not L4D3. The second didn't offer me enough to want to play it. It's been damn well long enough for HL2 Ep3, so I really hope that's what they finally give us.

OT: That is what I would hope, but I don't really think so. Seems sort of unlikely, what with them having already said there wouldn't be a HL2:E3 announcement this year. Also, the letter is in typical GLaDOS format, so it will most likely be Portal related - perhaps an announcement that it will factor more into the HL universe? Who knows.

The surprise is that Valve will announce the Official Valve Time Calendar, which will be planned for a public announcement at next year's E3.
