1. Their story is that they realized that they wanted to make it bigger than they could as DLC, so decided to go all-out and make a full game. Whether or not it's true, however...Srkkl said:Holy crap it's another one.
OT: Why I'm not wasting money on this shit "game"
1. It was supposed to be DLC, then it wasn't goint to be a full price game, now it's 60 bucks, obvious waste of money.
2. The multiplayer brings absolutly nothing new accept a couple of maps, and they added stupid mode where you can play as Johnson.
3. Halo 3 was a huge dissapointment and I don't trust Bungie with my money anymore because nothing good has come of it.
Well, your opinion isn't "facts" as you don't have them all. You can tell your him, as his character skin of course, and him(and all other ODSTs) have "their" lines to tell each one apart.Srkkl said:No you probably couldn't change my oppinions on facts. Also I really don't get the catch with Sgt. Johnson, you can't even tell your him, and it's not like he's gonna say funny black man quips or anything(well he might but I doubt it) all in all it'd be the the same if you were just the ODST skin.awsome117 said:I could point out everything wrong here, but I won't. Nothing I can say will change your view.
I feel the opposite, and pre-ordered for Srg. Johnson. I plan on having endless fun in firefight, and am anxious to see how they did the campaign.
Is it a "fact" that ODST is a DLC- length expansion being sold as a retail title? Really? Because you need to get some new internets. You're about a year out of date.Srkkl said:No you probably couldn't change my oppinions on facts. Also I really don't get the catch with Sgt. 1. They can realize all they want but Halo 3 wasn't supposed to only take up to 4 hours on the I think 8 mission campaign why should I believe they they're gonna make this any longer or put more effort into it regardless on weather it was DLC first or not?orannis62 said:1. 2. There is FireFight mode, which is different.
3.Agreed, unfortunately, but I'm willing to see it as a one-time misstep and give Bungie another chance.
Not now, however. I don't have the cash, but this game is on the list.
I know that it's been a while sence they announced that they are making it "longer" but I really think the only extra effort they put into this game was the firefight, and just like the Halo 3 campaign (if you can even call it that) it's going to be a huge dissapointment, and in all honesty if a game is gonna even have a single player then they should put some effort into it instead of putting all the good stuff in multi-player.Kermi said:Is it a "fact" that ODST is a DLC- length expansion being sold as a retail title? Is it a fact that Halo 3 was a disappointment? Sorry, that's opinion.
Is it a fact that the multipalyer brings nothing new? Well kind of - the actual multiplayer is exactly the Halo 3 multiplayer. The co-op firefight mode however is something completely else, which is comparable to the horde from from Gears 2 only in basic concept. The actual contrasts between gameplay are much more stark.
But why am I telling you all this? You're happy with your outdated alleged "facts", and I'm going to be too busy enjoying my ODST experience in a little under ten hours to care what anyone here is saying about it.
Yeah, but ODST fits what the game is about more than Recon. I don't think you're scouting too much.Souplex said:Is it me or was the games original title Halo Recon much better? Certainly easier to say in casual conversation.
Really? Bungie didn't make Halo Wars, Ensemble Studios did. They had no part in it at all, other than creating the universe it's set in. You're forming an opinon with outdated and incorrect 'facts'.Srkkl said:3. Halo 3 and Wars were enough of a misstep for me to never give them my well deserved green ever again.
