Actually that's not so hard, I did that on my 2nd playthrough. It's only difficult for like, the first 3-4 Big Daddies up to the fisheries area, after that you get the nade launcher and enough ADAM to do real damage to pretty much everything.

There again I've never used a Vita Chamber once in either of the games, felt like cheating to me.

And yes I have platinums for both Bioshocks.

Most difficult ones I've found would be getting to zone 75 on Wipeout HDs Zone Mode, getting a 20 killstreak against an inhuman opponent on Unreal 3 and winning a "perfect" deathmatch on Warhawk (ie, no deaths). Those are hard.

EDIT; and it seems I got ninja'd. Oh well.

Seriously 2.0 from Gears

not necessarily difficult
but to kill 100,000 enemies?
i've had the game since it came out fresh and i'm still on 32,000
not that i'm going out of my way to get the thing but how on earth can anyone who is have the patience to do that?

EDIT: oh and also Lost Planet 2, generally because i make it a rule not to use walkthroughs or online help. And (nearly) EVERY single achievement is a secret one

Seriously 2.0, in Gears of War 2. I can't imagine who would play Gears that long to get that achievement.

Beating "Mile High Club" on Call of Duty 4 on VETERAN.

Controller snapping frustration.
Mile High is a piece of piss. All of the CoD achievements are.

Armored Core For Answer has some of the hardest, ever. 10,000 kills in a game where there's less than 10,000 people, and only about 3 players per match. 10,000 wins online, too.

Plus, there's the fairly difficult campaign.

Any and ALL of them in Lost Planet 2. Re-play through 300 chapters? No thanks. Kill 1000 people online? Nope.
Lost Planet and Lost Planet 2 also have stupidly hard achievements.

You can grind kills in the last level on the Brumak. Like 1000 kills per run.

I think people are confused as to what hard means.
Kill x enemies , play x amount of hours , find x collectibles aren't difficult there time consuming.

Besides Bf:Bad company one.
I am Bad Company!: Achieve all awards - F***ing almost impossible, hell I even managed to get the damned 52 kills in a round a couple times and that's probably the single hardest but to get all of them requires mastering so many different play styles and doing some insanely stupid things. Like shooting down 5 helicopters in a round (and getting the final bullet on it)
Running over (road kill) 50 people with a boat?! 15 'nade kills in a round that's hard.
(There the only ones I never got /sob)

Any trophy in Demon Sous just because that game by itself is too hard let alone the trophies.
To expand on this some of the Demon's Souls trophies require you to beat the game with the same character consecutive times in order to attain the materials to fully upgrade a weapon. The game gets harder each time you beat. There was alot of face palming and thunder-raging in my living room until I traded it in for LBP. Then about 2 months later I woke up in a cold sweat and went to the game shop and bought it back. Still working on those trophies.

Any and all achievements that require you to find X amounts of hidden items throughout the game. Especially when they have no reward.

Are you referring to the first Bioshock? Where you had to play through VERY-hard mode (better known as survivor mode) without vita chambers? I got this trophy and it wasn't as hard as I thought it would be since I have an awesome big daddy killing tactic.

OT: Anything that involves collecting a truck load of a certain collectible like the flags in assassin's creed or the blast shards in inFamous, those are ALWAYS a pain in the ass.

hey, demos souls isnt actualy that hard, once you get the hang of it. sure, you die a lot, but I dont find it to be as frustrating as say, playing COD Black Ops on veteran.

anyways, i think that probably the trophy in Enslaved, were you have to find every singe one of the tiny red tech orbs, is probably the hardest one... (there are thousands of them!!!)

FFXI achievements are per achievement to get to lv.75 per job that's a minimum 100+ hours per job.

One in Half-Life 2 where you need to get through "Sandtraps" without stepping on the sand. It'd be easier if:
a) you could see ur own feet
b) you didn't keep slipping off the debris you need to move around to make your own path
c) it didn't have physics puzzles slipped into the middle of it for no good reason. seriously, who builds a rickety see-saw between two rocks in the middle of an antlion-infested beach? bridges work too ya know!

one from the cell-shaded Prince of Persia, where you have to find all 1001 light seeds. not so much difficult, just fucking tme consuming!

Hardest one for me so far, "We need Guns, Lots of Guns" for Fable 3. In order to complete it, you need to have all 50 weapons on a single account. So far I have 42, and I've beaten the game 3 times over two different accounts, and I'm working on the 4th.

The most time consuming, and probably most impossible achievement would have to be well, pretty much any achievement from Final Fantasy XI.

A monument to all your sins in halo reach. You have to beat the whole game on legendary by yourself. Good luck getting past the 500 grunts with fuel rod guns.

I'm pretty sure beating all of Super Meat Boy's levels(including dark world) is going to be the most difficult.
