There's a trophy in the new Mega Man where you complete the game without getting hit once. It's a Silver as well.

Beating the impossible game.
I did that this morning =D

I'd have to go with something called "Complete all Challenges" in 2006 World Cup...They were soccer games that happened in real life and had all different circumstances. The one i specifically remember was this one game where you were down to the last five minutes of the game and you were behind by six and you had to win =D

Well, it's not exactly hard to pull off in that anyone theoretically can do it. It's just that no one ever will.

I am referring to the Gears of War 2 achievement, Seriously 2.0, awarded for killing 100,000 enemies. I like it though, because it serves as a running kill count. I recently hit 10,000.

The Sweeper achievement in Assassin's Creed 2 where you have to knock 5 guards off their feet all at once with a long weapon was pretty awful. Those bastards take it in turns to pound on you, and then if you ever do get a chance to pull the move off, you always end up sweeping three or four.

There's a Napoleon Total War achievement where you declare war on every other nation in Europe on the first turn, never make peace, and end up winning.

I can't imagine doing that on the top difficulty settings...

Mine would have to be, Enter every single room in Dragon Age: Origins. I swear that I have been everwhere... yet I still can't get it... it's annoying at the very least.

100% in just cause 2.
There is no achievement for 100% in JC2. Though I did just get the one for 75%.
My mistake ill edit that out. I was under the impression there was since my friend has been trying to get 100% for the last few days

I would have to say the 'Ultimate Battler' achievement in Star Ocean - The Last Hope. Get 900 battle trophies. Considering some of the event needed are completely random, this is nigh-impossible to do. For only 10g, no less.

I actually know a guy who has this one. That poor, poor, achievement whore.

800 Crackdown Orbs is pretty damn. But 100% in Just Cause 2 is ridiculously gnarly. Think I might attempt it over the summer. I am at like 20% in 13 hours so far so I reckon I can make good progress. The achievement is only for 75% completion though, and another for 1000 resource items, but still.

I forgot:

Neighboorhood Watch in Half-Life 2: Episode 2. When you're defending White Forest, you can't let a single Strider destroy any building, but I think that excludes the sawmill.

I'm not attempting it because:

1. I hate the defending the base part
2. It's long
3. It's very fucking hard to get one Strider alone to not destroy a single building. And there's the part where four of them are crawling around the base at once.

Damn, good luck with that. I hope he means 100% on settlements cos hunting down all sabotages is genuinely impossible for all accounts and measures.

Have fun with that grind.
Piss easy. I've got 2200 now without really trying. Grind=/=hard.

If you want a hard JC2 achievement, try the one to drive all 104 original vehicles once...

"With friends like these" in TF2. Basically, you gotta get 7 people in your friend's list to join a game with you. Yeah...good luck with that.

doing 7 real days in the original dead rising, yes kids, that means throw away 168 hours of your life! and you have no saves, you can die if you dont eat and the worst part is youll probably get bored of actually killing zombies within an hour
Actually the max time it takes to get is 16 hrs. I forget the exact amount but its like every 3 sec is a min in game. If you got that i salute you sir i could only last the 5 days and that was to get the lightsaber after that i was like fuck it.

I think Perfect Dark, the original launch title at least on the 360 had some. Where you needed to play or win a 1000 matches online. And finding that many matches online was almost impossible on game launch.

Yup, the 7 Days achievement in Dead Rising is hard as hell (as are a lot of the achievements in that damn game), not only that, it nets a PALTRY 20G!

Final Fantasy XIII has some ungodly trophies/achievements too, like getting 5-star on all the C'ieth stones missions (some of the hardest battles in the game, a lot of which are much harder than the final boss).

Master's seal is pretty damn tough too; having to max out the stats of all the characters. It can be done over time, but it requires more grinding than a Catholic summer camp...
