They really should've went with a better surname, shouldn't they?
Yeah Hawke sounds like the name of an eyeliner and hip-hop pants clad guitarist in a Nu-Metal band.

Well, when paired with "Mike", it sounds like something, alright.

I hate myself for still laughing at that.

Someone tried to spoil Killer 7 for me, but they realized the futility of spoiling a game that they didn't completely understand.

The ending to Half-Life 2 : Episode Two.
Fuck you,Youtube commenters.
Just fuck you.
I would have thought one of the later episodes of Doomsday Arcade would have spoiled that... unless you didnt watch those, which I would than recommend, as they are pretty funny.

Well no actually. I hated all COD games cept for Modern Warfare 1+2 and Black ops. The rest failed horribly bad.
I disapprove.

Sarah Kerrigan said:
But yes. I was a huge fan of the stories of those three games, the multiplayer is rubbish..
I approve.

And Alex Maso and Soap are my favorite characters ever.
I am... confused.

Seriously though, you hated all of the WW2 games. Seems to me that that's really the only reason for that, because in its core, CoD 2 = every single CoD game after it.
Well I feel world war II games are overdone. I like ones that stand out. Black ops in particuler because it dives into a time period every has been afraid to do.

Well, they weren't overdone in 2003 or in 2005. Probably in 2006, though (CoD 3).

Count me in with the Red Dead crowd although I sort of did it to myself.

I was simply looking for the walkthroughs for the outfits and looked at what I'd need to do to get the US Federal Marshall's outfit (which I don't reccommend you do if you don't want a big clue to the ending) and

it goes and says "only Jack can wear this outfit" and I'm sat there thinking "Who the fuck is Jack?". And then of course you get introduced to your son and I knew exactly what would happen after that. It was still awesome. And the true ending, the bit with the Redemption, down by the river. ABSOLUTELY FUCKING AWESOME.

So I guess I learned my lesson. If you want to look through a walkthrough, don't look too far ahead.

Oh, and Keyser Soze is

your mum

Someone once spoiled FFIX for me. Other than that I have a nasty habit of spoiling shit for myself. Be it movies, tv shows, anime or manga. I go somewhere to read up on the work in question and find out that "this major guy dies" and "that guy is this guy's son".
Long story short, I'm a moron.

My brother completely ruined the ending to Red Dead Redemption for me. That asshole. He has a habit of almost doing that, or trying to 'help' me, by telling what to preserve for boss battles I never see coming and were looking forward to.

Since I first connected to the internet? Pretty much every single game ever. I've actually stopped giving a shit about whether or not a games story is "spoiled" or not and just enjoy the stories for what they are. Assuming the story in a game is any good that is.

So about 3 days before MGS4 came out, i was browsing Wikipedia to catch up on the story of MGS because its complicated to say the least. I found my way to the big boss page. Reading some stuff, i eventally saw a screen shot that said "Big Boss as he appears at the end of MGS4". I was super pissed, especially when the game hadnt even been released yet.

Unintentional spoilers really bug me when it's a game I've been really excited about. I just finished Red Dead Redemption for the first time and I'm so glad that I didn't get that spoiled for me, cause it really is one of the most powerful game endings I've ever played.

The protagonist - John Marston - finally kills his ex-gang members and his wife and son are released from government custody. They lead a peaceful existence of serene solitude on a ranch for a few days, until the people that blackmailed Marston into hunting the bounties in the first place decide that he needs to pay for his sins, and come to claim him. John sends his wife and son away from the ranch on a horse, knowing that if he's dead then the government has no reason to harass this family any further, and steps out to greet his death with dignity. He manages to kill two or three of the dozens of soldiers present before succumbing to the hail of bullets, and finally collapsing to the ground dead.

After that, you take control of Jack, his 16 year old son, as you ride with your mother back to the ranch when the chaos is over. They find Marston's body, and bury him on a small hill overlooking the ranch. The game then cuts to three years later, and you play free roaming as a 19-year-old Jack who has become the very image of his father in appearance and nature.

There's also an optional epilogue quest where Jack tracks down the government official in charge of the whole incident and puts a few rounds in his skull, after which the credits roll.
This synopsis really doesn't do it justice though, so I recommend watching the ending videos on Youtube or wherever.

But yeah, people spoiling things for you without you asking is a load of crap, I wish people wouldn't do it.
