KOTOR, but that's just because I started playing it so long after its release. Bioware likes to put out so much information about their games, but the ending's never spoiled. Just by going on to Dragon Age 2's website and looking at the announcements, I found out that
Anders "returns to your party in Dragon Age 2!" Thanks Bioware, this would've been a great surprise if you hadn't told me two weeks before the game's released.
Black Op's ending was spoiled, just 'cause I wanted to look at the wiki to see if Reznov was really that guy from World at War. It wasn't exactly the ending, but the "truth" behind Reznov was a big part of it ;-;
I thought it was the most effective scene. Stuff like Vito's Mum dying (which was really well put together and acted) held barely any relevance because you saw her for all of 5 minutes.
You can connect with the loss of Vito's mother, iirc you're "away" at the time and you get the letter. It's a swift kick whilst you're down you don't have to care about the character herself but Vito who has just lost him momma.
Pretty touching imo.
Didn't really care for Henry, he just seemed to be a lost sheep finding his way back into the fold.
Then he seemed to just take over the whole biz from there, granted I get why but still. He seemed far too forced a character.
The thing that got me about the ending was
You've just been through all the effort to save Joe from torture, you kill Falcone and then they just snap him up from you?
He was a faithful friend through the whole game, far too good to be just driven away where you're told he's dead.
I was outraged by the whole thing.

Well before that, we only saw her at the beginning of the game when you return home. They should have spent longer in the 40s and given you some character building "missions" with her (like the holiday trailer where they go to church).
The ending was just terribly done. I know what they were trying to do, but it fell flat on its face, especially when you compare it to the original's, which was incredibly satisfying and well-rounded.
Ambiguous endings are far too hard for most people to try and pull off.
Red Dead Redemption. I'm surprised I haven't had more spoiled, because some of the people on the boards I frequent are jerks and try and ruin things for people.
StarCraft 2: WoL
Fuck you YouTube commentators. All I wanted to do was watch the trailer. If someone ruins HotS for me I'm going to throttle them.
Shockingly I just recently got to play BioShock and it hadn't been spoiled for me. Since it's a three year
old game I consider myself lucky.
Well sometimes I come into contact with people talking about the endings of games and I imagine how it all is laid out. This usually then persuades me to A) Buy the game they were talking about and see if the ending is as good as I imagine it is or B) Go back to the game they are talking about and see if the ending is as good as I imagine it. Nearly all the time the ending that I imagine is much better in comparison but still I won't learn and keep expecting the amazing ending I have in my head.
Ah well...
Red Dead Redemption was spoiled by a friend of mine who was watching a walkthrough. what pissed me off is that she knew i was playing through the game itself.
Its a shame because if she hadn't of told me i wouldn't have seen it coming.
She is now playing through Assassin's Creed Brotherhood so i want to spoil it for her in retaliation but i dont want to be that noob spolier person just to get revenge.
Me:I just downloaded Dead Space, I'm going to play it when I get home. Kid:The girl you're looking for the whole time is really dead. Me:What the FUCK? Kid:She's a necromorph and she attacks Isaac at the end Me:FUCK YOU!!
Whole game ruined before I even installed it... I was ripshit.
I've had waaaay too many games spoiled for me to list them. The goddamn commentary about everything that happens is why I refuse to play my games with anyone but myself.
Around when GTA IV came out, some fuckball on Gametrailers said:
Roman dies in the end.
Without the spoiler tags. Obviously, that's just one of the ending to the game, and not the one I got in that playthrough, but I still wanted to kill that guy.
and apparently i spoiled Kotor for my friend because when i was discussing it with another friend at the time is was like(after rescuing Bastila and learning the whole jedi thing) "i bet you are either the bad guy or his long lost son"
I played as a guy, my friend played as a girl. We were arguing countless times over Revan's gender (and we were both right for obvious reasons). Then the game ate all of my saves, so I started a new game as a girl... And then I noticed the pattern.
RDR, but that didn't hurt me as much.
Thank God, I stopped using the internet those few days before Heavy Rain release...
Also, I gave my friend the most funny spoiler ever. He was playing Fahrenheit/Indigo Prophecy shortly after I beat it myself. When he played through the first few levels, I told him
"Hey, I'll tell you a spoiler: Lucas dies, and then the AI comes to destroy the world"
He laughed at me (or rather with me, but for a different reason ) and said "yeah right". His facial expression when he learned it was the truth - priceless.
I don't get spoiled. To me, the journey is more interesting than the start or the end.
For example; I knew Fable 3's ending before I beat it. But what the "spoilers" didn't tell me was HOW to get to it and what quests I'd be doing.
Well, sort of. I do happen to have a manual. But I watched Yahtzee's review before ever getting the game, so.
