Has a game ever been set in your home town?

Dead Rising takes place in Colorado, which is where I live. During a cutscene in MW2, a military base in Colorado was shown. And I made my characters in sports games like Smackdown vs. Raw and UFC Undisputed originate in Denver, which is the city I live in.



Man, Colorado doesn't show up in enough games.

Seriously this town would be the best place to set a zombie invasion...but nobody capitalizes because apparently NYC is more appealing.

I live in pottstown pa which is within driving distance of where the first left 4 dead appears to be based off of. But im not exactly sure. I have been to the area though and it was almost scary how familiar to the game it looked.

Although my town bears many similarities to Point Lookout and its inhabitants, it alas was not based on my hometown.

Except that we dont have any gun stors or anything...

Nothing bad happens here though, it would be a really easy game, no killing or anything...

My country was used in Army of two and in Counter-strike condition zero... although it was never in the cities, it was always in the south where the terrorists live lol

Not that I know of. But New Bedford,Mass has been in one famous book (cookies if you can name the book)and in one not so great movie. We may not be famous, but we have a lot of history and it's something to be proud of.

It could be good if done correctly (remember that Aprils Fools Joke IGN did about a GTA being set in Sydney in the 70's?) but a Grand Theft Auto: Adelaide would be very, very boring.
