Has anyone actually kept their Wii that has bought one?

I still own my Wii. I usually use it to play Brawl with friends.

can't blame you, it's only SSBB I play too, but even then that was quite a while ago...

I had mine from uk launch to June '08. Nearly 2 years. It's not a bad console, I just got bored with the constant waiting and traded it in for a 360. I like my 360 much more. More games than just first party fanservice and third party shovelware.

I understand. The 360 is pretty sweet. I still play F.E.A.R. Live pretty regularly.

I keep it to play on the virtual console or when my Wii loving cousins want to play Warioware. Mostly I'll play Tales of Symphonia on it anymore

I'm not a shameless Nintendo groupie, I swear!
But the Wii gives me old Mario RPGs courtesy of the virtual console, No More Heroes, and the latest NiGHTS, soooooo. <3
Now if I could just get my brothers to stop misplacing the controllers every two minutes.

I bought it the day it came out, and it's probably my second-most played console, beaten by a few seconds by my PS3. I love playing SSBB, all the metroid primes, all the Zeldas, as well as Resident Evil 4 and most of my GC games.

SSBB, Mario Kart, Metroid Prime 3, Mario Galaxy, and also games like Dragon Ball Z Budokai Tenkaichi 2, Wii Sports and Animal Crossing make sure that my Wii stays active within the family (I play all these games from time to time). There's also WiiWare titles like World of Goo and LostWinds, and of course the Virtual Console which is a very big reason why I'll probably keep playing on my console for quite a while.

Apart from a breif stint where a druggy broke in, stole it, sold it, got caught and went to jail, for me to get a new one sans saved games from the insuarance company, I still have mine.

Though it somewhat lacks being played much, as I was half way through most of my games when it was nicked, and now I have to do everything again, which apart from Smash Bros and DBZ BT2, I can't be arsed with.

Also, MMORPGs and TF2 taking much more priority atm.
