Not in Mexico, just in the U.S.

Since I'm pretty much the norm in my country I don't get any problems, but when I travel to the U.S, let's say there are some white folk that are apparently not so keen to be around me(Oh, Arizona, I grieve for you).

Half Limey, half Kraut + Russkie, I get it a lot. :p
On the other hand I mainly get the old age discrimination going on. Got to love being 18.

Well, as a white, middle-class Canadian, you wouldn't think so really. But there was this one time...

I was a moderator of sorts on an RP forum and was in charge of powers. There's one guy who, when anything he wants gets denied, goes on an emotional rampage declaring that whoever denied him is some sort of horrid amalgamation of Hitler, Stalin and No-Heart from Carebears, who's only purpose in existence is to attack him, specifically. Anyway, after denying him a particularly godmoddy ability he did his thing and started calling me everything he could think of (including, oddly enough, "the robot santa from Futurama that had too high standards and decided to kill everyone". That raised a few eyebrows). Anyway, since he was trying to make me out as incredibly stingy for not allowing him to move at the speed of sound and crush all that opposed him, he used the Jewish stereotype. Now, I'm not actually Jewish (Baptist Christian), but it was racist towards me...sorta. Mostly it was just racist in general I guess. It was a messed up debate. It would have been funny if he hadn't been so offensive about it really (like if he'd kept it at the robot santa line).

Being french canadian on this internet forum, I tend to receive a few pokes. However, I remember I was deeply insulted with an article way back in april about the Quebec goverment wanting french games first. One user replied " I wish that the french language would disappear already".

As for life outside the internet, no huge insults has been received.

...But seriously, you can still get jumped on for making fun of fat people.
Nobody sticks up for a white dude, and if you do, you're a fucking racist.
Unfortunately, Max is right. I've been jumped at school, merely because I was walking near a crowd of black people and a couple of them thought it would be funny to sucker-punch me. However, they didn't expect me to choke the second ************ who hit me from behind, which caused me two more hits to the face... But I made my point.

Seriously, as racist as white people can be... We'll never be as racist as minorities can be.
[sub]Mentioning Hitler here does not count... He was not mentally healthy. Also, different time periods.[/sub]
Of course, I live in Bible Belt... So racism, sexism, and homophobia are more common here than other places.

They probably think you're an illegal immigrant... Which is why they glare at you. I apologize on behalf of my fellow countrymen... As much as I hate to call them that.

Usually the reaction when people in MMOs get to know that I'm German is along the lines of "We beat you back in WWII"

According to a study done while ago, one which I will not be able to hunt down, the most intelligent people in the world are Taoists.
Until I see that study I'm calling zombie bullshit. Until I see that study, as far as I'm concerned, you yourself are being discrimatory (Spelling?).

To use an incredibly cliched example, Einstein sure as fuck wasn't Taoist.
Now that you mention it, I remember that among genetic/racial groups Askhenazi Jews have the highest average IQ. Einstein was one.

Not really; about the closest was being told by a black lady friend that she doesn't date white guys (i.e. me). But then, it turned out she was trying playing hard to get. Women are strange sometimes! ;)

Maybe a little bit for my red hair... otherwise being a tall english white-as-tippex male in my twenties tends to leave me unaffected. Though I know my sister who's a lot smaller than me (but only slightly younger) attracted the very occasional cry of "ginger" (pronounced to rhyme with "ringer") in the street. On the other hand when I admit I went to a public school there are always lots of (good-natured) jokes about being posh if the people I'm with didn't go to one.
Gosh, I've had it hard.

Well I'm a white straight property owner, I think it's physically impossible to discriminate against me. I do get bullshit about being intelligent enough to be an atheist though. also why the hell would you know anything about socialism? the third Reich was a fascist regime not a socialist one.
Well, the Third Reich were actually socialist that is how they were put into power as the National Socialist German worker's party. Also, there have been many incredibly intelligent people and even more so I imagine far more intelligent than yourself, who have been theologians. You seem to be a bit pretentious, if you weren't sarcastic then I am guessing you are far less intelligent than you want people to think. If you are a troll, please leave.

Nah I'm Mexican and I've never had trouble with people. Though there was this time with an officer who thought I was high or drunk or something when I went outside the bowling alley for a friend who left his keys in the car. (This was back when I was a minor) I could understand though since he had to be suspicious of people because there was a bar connected to the alley and it was his job to do something about minors in possession.

Perhaps I've been lucky in the 22 years I've been alive, but I've never been discriminated against. I read some of the posts through here, and wonder how much of it is a misconstrued understanding... Then again that is wishful thinking on my part. I want to believe that people have grown beyond their irrational hatred to different tones of melanin, how silly things are when we confuse the actions of an individual with that of an entire people. Beware over generalization and oversimplification of a situation in your evaluation of people in further posts. Not going to call anyone out on this but... well you get the idea.
