Has anyone noticed that Adam Sandler does and is the same thing in all his movies?

Yes, as do Jim Carey & Robin Williams. If you've seen one of their movies, you've seen all of them.
Not necessarily true; Robin Williams for one plays a psychotic killer just as well as a funnyman. (i.e. 60 minute photo)
Yeah, he also was the perp in a kick-ass episode of Law and Order.

Considering that in my opinion his only competition in the "Worst actor alive" category is Keanu Reeves, yeah.
And Will Farrel. And Andy Dick.
But Will Ferrel was in Anchorman!

With the exception of The Trueman show, Eternal sunshine of the spotless mind and Good will hunting.

Adam Sandler was great in funny people.
Yeah, he was. God, that had to be the most self-aware movie I've ever seen.

Yeah I'd noticed this, but I think it's difficult for an actor not to become typecast to play a certain type of character. There are so many examples...

I noticed that Jim Carrey is always the same in every movie he does.

By that I mean his acting.

I will agree with that. In a lot of cases, like Billy Madison, Anger Management, Happy Gilmore, Little Nicky, Mr. Deeds, Chuck and Larry, and Big Daddy all have some kind of buffoon that starts out as him being an idiot and then after some pathetic character development in the film he comes out a reformed, well-meaning idiot.

There are some films where he isn't that way. Spanglish is good. Wedding Singer made me laugh because it actually had some clever parts in it.

I miss his Saturday Night Live days when he acted alongside Chris Farley, Chris Rock, Phil Hartman (poor guy), Dennis Miller, Kevin Nealon, David Spade (when he was funny), and Rob Schneider (ditto). Those were the days.

Holy shit. I was never much of a fan of SNL, but that lineup sounds fantastic!

EDIT: Sorry I meant Dennis Miller. Also throw in Norm Macdonald because he was in it too.

Oh Hell yeah, SNL was great in the early 1990s. The next lineup with actors like Tim Meadows, Chris Kattan, Will Farrel, Horatio Sanz, Cheri O'teri, Molly Shannon, and Ana Gasteyer. But after that it just plain sucked.
