Meh. Not getting Origin. Don't need it. All my games are on Steam, and I can't run BF3 anyway on my computer. Getting it for the PS3 I'm getting at the end of the year.

I used to play COD only, but got BF2 a couple of days ago. To be honest, I don't think it can match up against CoD.

The most anoying thing was that a player with a higher lvl had items to balance it in their favor( Snipe x12 mainly, or higher armor) that was th worst.

It's good also but, not too many online modes, classes, weapons. And maps WAY to big for the game except the squad matches.
I liked that they simplified the whole classes system personally. But that's just my opinion.

The game is supposed to be geared more towards smaller little gunfights over a large map, than a small map with 16+ people on it all running around knifing each-other.

It's not perfect, and not for everyone, but you'll get used to it if you keep playing it.

OT: Maybe for the PC gaming community, but for those who plan on getting it for consoles, I imagine it shouldn't be too much different than EA's whole "EA Online" thing that you need to sign up for in order to play most of EA's games online.
