I live in Japan and came back to the UK for a two week break. I am living in Osaka and have been watching the news like a hawk.
Living in Japan, I am used to things like earthquakes and tsunami warnings. Therefore when I first heard the news me and my friends were like earthquake yay lol e.t.c.
As the news unfolded, it all became unreal. I have never known anything like this.
I am still coming to terms with everything. I was meaning to open a thread but I could not put anything into words
I am due to go back on Friday and I am a) afraid that I will not be allowed to fly out, b) afraid of the Japan that I will return to
Soon as I get back I am going to help with the relief effort.
I would talk more about the nuclear situation...but I am not there yet...
