For me it's either Mass Effect, The Ocarina of Time, Majora's Mask, KH 1 and 2, Phoenix Wright... actually you know what those are just some of my favorites. None of them are really perfect but I guess the one with the least amount of flaws either has to be OoT or Majora's Mask. I could nit pick them with a fine toothed comb and I would really only find maybe 2 or 3 flaws if that many.

Well, the perfect and pure tetris is still contained within tetris DS, but I see what you're getting at.
Well, I guess that analogy might not work just right since it's more like a collection of games than a single game in itself.

It works better if, instead of comparing the original Tetris to the DS one, you compare the original to one of the new, flawed modes.

Come to think of it, Tetris also helps prove the other part of my statement: even people who say Tetris is perfect may not think Tetris is the best game ever, or think Tetris is their favorite game.

Yes. Ocarina Of Time.

Goodbye.
as awesome as it was, it wasn't perfect. there were a number of ways it could be improved and any game that has reason for improvement cannot be perfect. OoT is one of my all time favorite games but i would not describe it as perfect. that being said, any game that you or i consider to be perfect, there will be those that disagree.
Tis one of my favourites as well, but as you say is not perfect.
Twilight Princess, in a way, came closer to perfection that OoT but there was something about OoT that made me not be able to place TP above it

Ocarina of time: Glitches are a part of it's charm (also atmosphere).
Counter Strike (Source) is(are) timeless fun.
Surprised I don't think I've seen a mention of SMW which I believe comes pretty close to perfection.

Shadow of the Colossus, it had an amazing premise, an immersive story, and great characters (even if you don't even really know there fucking names) but it really could be my favorite of all time the only better thing would be to combine that, Resident Evil 4, and Silent Hill 2 into an orgy of unimaginable god-like creation that would be so perfect it would ascend from the heavens and kill the world..... metaphorically speaking

You are correct my friend. I rather enjoyed the Onimusha Series and a game can't ever be perfect because there is always someone ALWAYS someone who will not like it and then try to find something wrong with the game.

Noo. I believe that TP was Nintendo trying to fix OoT to create perfection, but you know what they say if it aint broke don't fix it. This here is why TP was not great.

You could say: "Oh, it's too difficult!" But I will respond with a swift kick in the ass. Old school difficulty is nothing to be afraid of.

All who disagree with me will face the wrath of fingers in my ears while I scream "LA LA LA LA LA!" to drown out the noises.

*Fingers at the ready*
Just fuckin' try me.
