So I have. I wont spoil much but here is my own ending,written in your my own words. I encourage everyone else to do the same. Try to keep it short like, and written from your own characters perspective if they were giving a speech, or a press release etc etc...

"War, war never changes. This time it ends with me being the Alpha, the King, Commander, the guy with all the power. Once a simple courier, now I control New Vegas and the wasteland. It is all mine.. all mine i tell ya. Victory tastes sweet, the blood of mine enemy spilled across the wasteland. As I climb to the top of the bodies, and look over the wasteland, I cant help but wonder what is in store for me in the future. Can't say that I am worried. Ive got an army, and guns, some friends, Oh yeah did I mention I am in charge. I pushed back the NCR, defeated Caesar and his legion.. I win... "

for me, just got level 20, after part were you get the platinum chip, and trying to do all the side quests.

I haven't beaten it yet, ever since I started a new game and as soon as I left the doc's house for the first time a giant radscorpion showed up and murdered everyone in the street, including me... I kinda lost interest.

I'm on my first playthrough- level 15, very good Karma (Vegas Legend), and I went the 'me' route on the main quest (ie, don't support any faction but myself).
But not finished yet.. I have told Mr Yes about all the factions, and have just started the quest that he tells me to install some chip/science thing in something.. How far is that from the end?

Haven't done -many- sidequests, but thinking of getting through them properly on my 2nd play

You really not that far from the end. Maybe 2-4 quests left. Ive completed the game on hardcore I might add so sorry if this is a spoiler but the "reward" your supposed to get at the end turn out to be.....an achievement/trophy. No gun, no armor, nothing. I wouldn't have called it hard work just more of an annoyance more than anything so I wouldn't recommend doing it unless your an achievement ho(cough)hunter or a perfectionist.

Yes I finished the game and made myself the ruler of The Strip. I kept failing "The House Always Wins, Part VI" for no good reason as I became quite infamous with the NCR but have no idea how.

Stupid piece of buggy shit.

I beat it on hardcore mode straight off the bat. I fucking love Fallout..

definitely.. got to level 30 on my first play-through on normal, which is why i decided to finish the main quest. The limited level cap is lame, I could have explored more even though I did a lot, but at that point I would not have gained anything to help me...

now i just started HxC mode, and your right, every kill it more rewarding, or should i say i take a seat, open a bottle of vodka or water, much on some meat, and find a place to take a little nap.. HxC mode makes it more realistic, and i find myself playing it more cautiously, especially because i know where the badies r..

I'm working on it currently, but I have a terrible habit of not being able to settle with 1 character. I usually start over when my OCD kicks in, which is usually about level 8.

I am doing well so far though, I am at lvl 16 and happy

Two times... i am on third playthrough now (all on hardcore, of course). Loaded up on mods now.

Game is good, but the ending is pretty weak. Can't top the Liberty Prime of Fallout 3.

Yep. Sided with NCR, helped most factions that could be helped and ended up a hero of the republic. Just one thing bugs me though: the game never told me what happened to Veronica or Boone. I heard all about Cass and Lily but that was it. I did everyone's personal quests that I cared about (Lily, Cass, Boone and Veronica - couldn't care less about floating backpack noisemaker or corpse man's quest) and I got a reasonably happy ending for Cass and Lily but not a word about Boone or Veronica.

Which annoys me. I actually quite liked Boone and Veronica, even if Boone was a bit sulky. Then again, I probably would be too if I were in his shoes. Did anyone get an ending that gives us a clue what happens to either of them?

I've forced myself to play about 6 hours now... and I'm still not enjoying it...<.<
