I went to a school where the most racist person was black, and I'm white.
Hell yeah I was called a racist.
Disagree with him on Politics = Racist
Correct him on his math homework = Racist
Don't let him cheat off me = Racist

It was really fun when I finally got to flip the race card on him one day though, he sputtered for a solid ten seconds trying to think up some response.

Sure, sometimes it was defiantly racist and sometimes it wasn't.

Sometimes it was reverse racism and sometimes it wasn't.

If you really have never been called racist I wonder how often you have actually put yourself into other cultures.

Take a class on cultural diversity, not only will you be called racist but you will see that you are racist, no matter who you are.

No I haven't but oddly enough people have been as such to me for being of Scottish and Scandinavian descent rather than X Generations of pure English.

Edit: Actually my best friend is germanic and russian descent and accuses me of racism often as a joke. Does that count?

Once back in high school, when they gave out those stupid baby dolls, that are supposed to teach people how to be parents.

I mentioned that one of the dolls had freaky eyes [note: They were jet black plastic balls] and a girl in my class started going mental about how I was being racist as the doll was supposed to be Asian, and her boyfriend was Asian and other crap that made no real sense.

I told her she was the racist one if that's the first thing she thought when I said freaky eyes.

Yep when I was a guard at a movie theater some women came though a exit and when i asked to see her ticket she balked and went into this spiel about how i was singling her out cause she was black. It sucked especially since i was doing my job and she was in the wrong coming in a exit door which usually if the theater manager is tough would lead to the person being tossed outright.

Yes, quite recently as a matter of fact. Although in this case I was allegedly being racist towards griffons, which makes exactly as much sense as you think it does. None at all.

Ive not personally, but I see so many things about 'reverse racism', 'Politcal Correctness' and 'Double Standards' that I assume some of you have, as with any issue its better to talk about it then sweep it under the carpet, so please share your experiences and points of view.
First off, whoever invented the term "reverse racism" was a moron...... what that term should mean is people who are racist against racists...... but for that to even work "racist" would need to be a race, and it is not.

If someone is racist against blonde haired blue eyed white people they are still just racist, no reverse necessary.

On topic though..... No never, however I did break up with someone because of racist comments she made.

I used to use '******' a lot when I was about thirteen or fourteen. The thing is, I had no idea of its origins, and had only heard it in use when someone was describing a '******' stealing their stuff. So I used to think ****** was an insult to a thief. I then heard it used against people (I never noticed that the only people it was used against were Maori and Samoan though (Living in New Zealand, here)) who were being dicks. So, as far as I was concerned, a '******' was simply an asshole who stole peoples stuff.

No, though I have been accused of being sexist for suggesting the Violence Against Women Act should be replaced with an "End Violence Act" of sorts - a law which would keep all the provisions of the VAWA, but drop the wording that limits certain benefits of the law exclusively to women. That's right, I was called sexist for suggesting that a law with sexist language be modified to remove the sexist language. I'll let the stupidity of that accusation sink in.

I always thought the term "Reverse Racism" referred to extreme niceness/politeness towards someone of another race, based solely on their race.

Ah dammit. I misread the thread title as "Have you ever called someone out as being racist?" I'm slightly disappointed because I was ready to vent about this stupid piece of hillbilly trash at my school. Whatever...

OT: No. I've never been called out as racist. The closest thing to me being called out for racism was when I referred basketball "that one sport the tall black guys play" when I was little. My Dad corrected me.

Apart from the jokes thrown around with friends that we're constantly being racist to everybody, I think I've only been called racist once.
It was on here, actually. I brought up that black people generally have a higher muscle density and therefore aren't as strong swimmers as people of other ethnicities. I didn't mean to insult anyone with it, I was just stating something I thought was true. Apparently posting such trivia is considered racism.
Can anyone confirm if that is actually true, the muscle density thing? I thought it was, but now I think about it, the only place I remember hearing it was from my dad.

Then you and Fox News are at odds with one another, because they take it to mean racism against white people.

I am frequently called racist in what is, ironically, a racist fashion and due to racism.

Because I am a privately schooled and white male at my place of occupation should I call someone out for any breach of policy (that frequently has directly impacted my ability to work) I am accused of doing so due to racism.

Of course, I didn't even know the ethnicity or nationality of the person who was constantly stealing/removing my peripherals. When I attempted to display my disgust to whoever it was by leaving a note attached to my cord at the back of my computer (without involving management - something that was in their best interests) stating "Asshole, stop stealing my peripherals. Talk to IT if you need one." they reported me to management for racism.

Of course, after management told them to just drop it and find their own peripherals they confronted me on my way to my office and attempted to vandalize my work-space. "Racist white-boy asshole" seemed to be their go-to exclamation between breaths.

The irony and hypocrisy was completely lost on them.

Admit it; you're as tired about hearing about the plight of the Aboriginals as everyone else is.

Not saying it doesn't suck but there it is.

I don't recall having ever been called a racist. However I definitely was a racist in my younger years, in some ways I probably still am. Never really comes up though, and I'm definitely not a "hardcore" (for lack of a better word) racist, I can't say I'm free of prejudices either though...
