I was accused of hacking at my job. One of the programs that we use called Allscripts, it's for prescriptions was not responding. So I hit ctrl+alt+delete to bring up the task manager to rid of this program because it was freezing the screen. My fellow coworker is in her 40's and thought I was hacking the computer. o_O I am now accused of witchcraft. *bows*

I have been accused several times, the best being when I went to a computer camp a while back. First time was when I single-handedly captured all of the opponents flags in Battlefield 2. In reality, it was a six player game and I was the only person familiar with the game. Second was a call of duty 3 tournament, because I mastered machine gun sniping. Third was a Unreal 4 tournament, I have no idea why, as I was the 3rd best on my team and we were losing by a lot. All of these times, almost everyone else in the room sided with me.
Online play:
Halo: during an invisible sniper match at Blood Gultch. I'd been on that server for the past 4 hours and, in the 2nd hour, finally nailed headshoting
Left 4 Dead: I was playing with a bunch of noobs on campaign and was accused of cheating
Left 4 Dead 2: Multiple times, apparently people severely underestimate the potential of the Jockey.

Never been accused, but I did accuse someone one. When I used to play MW2 I was in deathmatch game on Wasteland (which is like the longest map, I think) and one guy shot and killed me from the other side of the map, his weapon? A Spaz-12 shotgun fired from the hip. Turns out he was hacking and he got banned.

Yep... While playing AUDITION, of all things.

Admittedly, I'd be pretty suspicious of anyone who managed a 32x combo, but I did it honestly by sheer luck and miracle! I swear!

I've been falsely accused of hacking after kill streaks in several source games, mostly mods. I can't remember which ones though; it hasn't happened in a while.

I've been accused of hacking on all of the main Halo games. I'm not even that good, I just happen to spend more time completing objectives than the rest of the players, who sit at opposite ends of the map sniping, or getting ghost splatters. So when I kill them while I do it, I look good, and they get foul mouthed.

Also on GTA4 (TBOGT), I got particularly good with the explosive shotgun rounds and attack mini chopper, which I hogged for hours on free roam, hunting down the idiot trying to kill me with a shotgun. He accused me of hacking, I don't even know if it's possible to hack my way into getting an immortal helicopter, since poor old me is generally stuck in the 50's with technology. (Xbox and forums excluded, obviously).

More than a few times in L4D and L4D2. As the game has set maps and sequential patterns, things can get very predictable. It can be really frustrating when you spray some bullets at the optimal location for an attack, only to be called a haxor. Sorry buddy, I'm not hacking, you're being a noob and spawning where you shouldn't be...

I get accused of hacking when I take out choppers with tanks. I'm sure some people here can do that and you'll agree it's just practice and, of course, being super awesome with tanks :p

EDIT: In BC2, just thought I'd specify the game in case any of you see me do it and want to shout 'hacker!'

Back in the day I was pretty good at AvP2. I almost always played Predalien and still remember the accusation. We were playing TDM on cycling maps and for several in a row I absolutely cleaned up. I was an unstoppable tour de force of tooth, tail and claw, leaping from floor to marine to ceiling to predator to wall and back, tore them to pieces and ate them afterward. So I was top on the leaderboards for two or three matches and in post game chat a handful of players start accusing me of cheating, claiming I absolutely had to be cheating to have such a score and to trounce them so thoroughly.

That was for me the highlight of my online MP gaming career. Being so good at a game to be accused of cheating is the best compliment one can receive. :) Sadly the term "owned" hadn't been coined yet but if it had, that's just what the marines and predators would have been. Shame the new AvP from Sega was nowhere near as good as Monolith's gem.

I've been permabanned from four seperate BFBC2 servers for 'hacking'. Plus at least 3 CoD4 servers. Many people rage at me for 'hacking'.

I have never hacked in my life.

Ive been called a hacker on a few occassions. Usually just during lucky streaks, because I suck at most games. And if I am pretty good at this game ( like BFBC2 or somethin' ), im not spectacular. by any means. They just resort to that word to defend their ego from facing defeat at the hands of someone they dont know.

While I generally don't hack games, I've been accused of "hacking/cheating" plenty of times. I lost count after 100. I've been banned for "AimBot" from plenty of 2142 games. I can't help it if I can kill you from across the map with my sniper AV gun.

I actually *have* hacked games, but only when it's a Private game. Although, I do remember when I played Tribes 2, there was an obvious hacker on one server. AimBot, Infinite Ammo, blah blah blah. No one had any proof, and the Admin was very adamant about not kicking someone unless there was proof. At first I thought it was my bad skills, but I decided to try something to see if I could grab proof.

See, I invented something for this specific game that I was testing in SP against bots. See, SP uses a detection algorithm to "AimBot". By having the server running dedicated and me connecting through the outside Internet (I looped it through my friend's computer across town), I could fiddle with the packets and see what I could come up with. The "fiddling" I did, I called the "Invisible Nudger". How it worked is that I would put out a few extra packets to the server that would adjust my X/Y/Z in one or more directions every few milliseconds. To the average player, it would do absolutely nothing, since I was off by a Pixel or two. However, to an AimBotter, that's a different story.

See, the thing is, he would be getting conflicting vectors, which would cause the AimBot to miss. You would shoot to the left or the right about 50% of the time. I also did some Packet catching which logged the entire game into a file which I figured out that he could hit me approximately 50% of the time, while everyone else he was hitting closer to 95% of the time. I decided to present it to the Admin in a private chat, and he wanted to see it for himself. Sure enough, I was able to get the Admin to see what it was, but we came up with an evil plan.

Since it worked so well, the Admin gave me a "free pass" for hacking, but just for this one time. I adjusted my vectors "a little more". And when I mean by adjusting my vectors a little more, I decided to set it so that every Vector he got from me was...at his feet. So, when he was firing his Blind Mortars across the map and saw me roll up in a tank, he started shooting Mortars...at his feet. I fired no shots, and he killed himself. I grabbed the flag, and started jetting around home base. His friendlies started seeing what I was doing and started watching from the map and from the surrounding mountains. When my friendlies saw this happening, they wanted to investigate. He respawned, and I just hopped around him, with him in his Light Spinfusor setup that, before today, could hit every time, now was hitting the ground every time.

Now, I was superb at the Spinfusor, and I proceeded to switch setups with Light and run away, having him chase me. By now, I could see that he was fricken pissed. His AimBot wasn't working as well and his aim was so erratic. He starts chasing after me, and, in the meanwhile, I'm skiing up and down the hills of Kata skillfully, choosing my shots carefully so that the Spinfusor takes off approximately 10 HP a hit (almost the minimum). I'm taunting him, and people on chat are watching and doing various things from VVS to VVW, watching as the Admin (which I had on TS) was laughing his ass off. It was obvious, without his AimBot, he was useless. He didn't know how to time the Spinfusor, and he couldn't hit me worth shit with his Chaingun. Yeah, he nicked me every now and then, but some of my friends setup mobile stations all around the map for me. He took them out when he saw me using them, but, for the most part, I could keep supplied as he chased me around the map.

This continued for about 15 minutes before he stopped. He was fed up with me toying with him. He switched on his really big hacks; the hacks so obvious, you could get banned just for having them on a Vanilla server. He turned on God Mode, Unlimited Energy, Unlimited Ammo, and Super Fast Refire. All the stuff, that, if an Admin running in Observer mode switched to his view could see that he was hacking. He saw it, but, by this time, the rest of the server made it into my TS Channel and the server was 32/32 full of people watching, laughing on TS, making comments. By unianimous decision of me, I decided to see how long I could live with god mode. To even it out, I got permission to enable Unlimited Health Packs. So, I'm sitting here, dodging Spinfusors, Grenades and the like. He can't enable his AimBot (since it would just fire at his feet), and I survive for roughly 7 minutes. I go down, and he starts cheering on my body. We let him have his fun for about... 6 seconds, and ban him.

It was a load of fun, then we had a Tribes 2 Rave.

In a game of Search & Destroy on MW2 (and literally the only S&D game I ever played voluntarily) I killed the same player at the start of every round from the same spot while they were in the same spot. The guy spammed me with rude messages saying how I had an aim bot, that I was using invisibility, and how he was going to report me.

A .50 cal is supposed to one shot anything with Stopping Power. And I don't see how going prone and changing positions after each kill (like a good marksman should) is the same as being invisible.

Many times in any vs. game. I have games where i am 10 kills 60 deaths then I have games where i am 60 kills 10 deaths. Then I have games where I am pretty even.

My most memorable "HACKER? moment was in MW2 when I started as a sniper, fired every round in my gun defending our flag. (The map was Array I think. The snow level that has the big satellite building in the middle.) I pulled out my pistol started running and gunning at a few people running up the hill beside the busted jeep. Killed them gabbed one of their Fal silenced with a red dot. And hid out in one of their buildings. Shot the sniper out of the tower at the other side of the map. Grabbed the flag ran up the hill to other side of the map took a couple rounds in the back. Cap'd the flag and promptly was called a hacker by the other team. The next round I was promptly murdered at every turn.

Good times :)

No, I haven't. But then again, I'm not such a big MP person and when I do play MP its usually from particular games like LBP2 and Red dead undead nightmare.

use to happen all the time back in the day of Killzone 1, that and I was called a cord-puller.

I did trying Fog-Of-War removal mods during Starcraft 1 a few times... but I was still horrible at the game and only played Comp-Stomp
