Just once, in Bioshock, because the game cheated, I liked that guy, but the game didn't give me a choice.

Often enough... I just feel bad about killing anyone just to get a better piece of loot.

It's odd. In Fallout I've blown up Megaton twice (two differnt files) and the time that I did it without killing anyone in Megaton beforehand, I felt really guilty and with Allistair Tennpenny feeling no remorese saying, "What a grand display of fireworks!" made me feel bad...

However! When I killed everyone in Megaton they all ran into Moriarty Saloon trying to kill me... IN SINGLE FILE. And when I killed them, they fell into one big pile by the door... After people stopped coming in I counted at least 22 NPC's fell in that pile. For some reason I couldn't stop laughing...

I felt bad once when playing Prey. It was at the start when you are on the alien ship and there are all the people on the person mincer machine which your grandfather has managed to stop with his funky powers, I moved on as you are ment to and spotted a big button, and this being a game my natural reaction was to press it, to my horror it started the machine up again and sent some poor dude screaming to his sticky doom.

I felt bad killing the dentist in Bioshock! I'd gone through the game so many times just shooting him instantly from fright that one day, I decided to see what he would do if I left him.

He does absolutely nothing. He doesn't try to kill you.

Alone in his office, he waits for a friend, moaning from loneliness, jabbering away in senseless speech because he has forgotten what words sound like. Who visits the dentist voluntarily in this world? Eventually, I euthanised him, but I was not happy about it.

(I mean, okay, there was a horribly mutilated corpse on the chair if memory serves, but still, I couldn't help feeling bad for him. xP)

No it's fun. I was heartbroken when I couldn't pound a kids face in with a baseball bat on Fallout.

I also like to respond to any gangsta calling me a "white boy" in GTA with a swift bullet to the head, followed by many bullets to the body.

There was one "Boss" NPC in City of Villains who begs you for mercy as you attack him. When you get him down to half health, he says it was only for his daughter.

On the final blow he cries out her name and drops.

I nearly wept.

There was that time in the Pitt

SPOILER ALERT

when I had to decide whether or not I should kidnap Marie (the baby/antidote). It took me 10 minutes to decide what I was going to do. because either way it sucked. Either I deprive this kid of both her parents or I let the parents keep her and let a whole group; of slaves suffer. and It wasn't like Ashur was doing a truly terrible job. Even he admitted that slavery was bad but he had to have them work until the pitt was on it's feet. I did end up taking her though. The whole needs of the many outweigh the needs of the few. But that doesn't mean I had to like it.
I didn't, as a matter of fact, I did the opposite because it was easier.
Then, when I got all my equipment I came back, killed almost everyone, including Ashur and his wife.
I also slowly killed every resident of Tenpenny tower with a pistol while cackling like a maniac.
I have NO remorse.

To those of you who dont know me (which is about anyone outside my friends) im a maniacal heartless asshole when it comes to games i ll shoot somebody in the legs just to laugh as they suffer and will put a shotgun in someones face for looking at me i blame growing up with spyro and crash bandicoot.

But something weird happened a few months ago whilst playing gta 4 i decided to kill dwayne so i go through murderising anything with a pulse until i get to dwayne who i kill quickly with a shot to the head then all of a sudden whilst looking at his body in a pool of blood i got a weird thought which i had never gotten whilst playing games, i just thought "oh god what have i done" after this i felt bad for a few weeks about killing him. though oddly ive never felt bad about killing anyone else since.

so who did you feel bad about killing the most in a game my freind says moira brown but i had fun killing her.
I tried being Darkside in KoToR... but when I told big Z to kill Mission after he swore a blood oath... god I felt bad ;_;

AND WHY ISNT THERE A ROMANTIC OPTION FOR JUHANI INSTEAD OF JUST THAT ***** BASTILLA!?

How about the Vietnam Veteran from Dead Rising? He only tells you his story with his last dying breaths about how, while he witnessed his granddaughter being devoured by zombies, he snapped...

Yeah in Oblivion once you complete the "cleansing" mission for the dark brotherhood you realize you'll never get another chance to get that special axe.
