Have you ever felt cheated after you bought/rented a game?

FF12, liked the battle system. Still do. Now have urge to kill Vaan every time I see a japanese male that looks remotely similar. Plot was utter shit only because of him and the fact that he was the lamest fucking main ever. Wouldn't have felt cheated if battle system sucked and other characters were as horrendous.

I felt cheated when I borrowed Clive Barker's Jericho from a friend, for free.

I felt cheated when I bought a Wii, until today, Madworld is out, upping the number of enjoyable games (In my opinion) on the Wii to four.

I played a round of Marvel vs. Capcom 2 today.

Only, one of the buttons didn't work. It was the one you press in order to get Cable to use that pistol of his, which was the mainstay of my combos with him.

Hired out L4D on 360 when I have it on PC.... dear god the framerate and detail was terrible on 360. I felt embarrassed trying to show it off to my 360 fanboy friends since they havent played it.

....we must be playing two different games, the 360 version looks great and never slows down.

Are you kidding.. theres so much slowdown when a horde of zombies come at you, the 360 version is like the PC version on the lowest settings.

Would you like to try playing L4D on My rig? Wait, no, I think the .5 FPS framerate would cause you to have a heart attack.

And unless you're in a really really bad situation, any possible slowdown on the 360 version isn't gonna effect gameplay.

Oh yes, another thread were SSB Brawl, Mario Kart Wii and Tiberium Wars easily take the prize. Returned them straight away like they were broken and told them they should put it in the bargain bin because there is no way they are worth 100$!

Where to begin?
Any PC game that I stupidly purchased without incredible research, Halo 2/3, Bioshock, Fallout3, Oblivion (huge Morrowind fan), anything Blizzard ever released outside of Diablo 2 and Warcraft 2, KOTOR 2's storyline, any racing game other than NFS Black, all but the second Burnout, Turok 2/3, Resistance Fall of Man, Dues Ex: Invisible War, Thief 3, anything by Will Wright (Sims, Sim City, Spore, etc.), or by Peter M. (the guy who did Fable, Black and White, etc. I can't spell his last name off the top of my head), all of the original Half Life expansions (with the exception of opposing force), anything by BioWare (other than the original KOTOR, and Mass Effect), all shooters for PC beginning the day Doom 3 came out (with a few exceptions), any MMORPG I've ever touched, and anything other than Brawl I've ever played for the Wii.
I also felt ripped off for simply playing the demo of the new Turok. I still want my expectations back from the developer. Or money.
I'm also worried about Diablo 3 and Starcraft 2.
So yes, I've felt ripped off paying for games before, and I will again, many times I'm sure, until people put a bit of effort into the craft.

So this. I'd also add any Ps2 game found randomly that looked ok but ended up being Gauntlet.

Always vet, dammit how many times has it been now, how many hours wasted when you could have been playing Arcanum or Dark Messiah, always the fool when it comes to shiny objects.

The SR2 port for PC. The game is literally unplayable in all aspects. I would have gotten greater satisfaction out of slapping a hobo across the face with 40$

Call Of Duty World at War. This game really pissed me off. The first time I played it I needed a new Video card. I went all out and bought the really costly 9400 since it was on sale at the Computer store for 90 dollars. I put it in and get it playing. First thing I do is start the Campaign. It loads up and I watch the video, then it goes into a black screen with 1 bar that did nothing. Which forced me to restart since I couldn't Alt Tab. Then I go into Co-Op for Nazi Zombies. I see a guy about to play Semper Fi so I play. I beat the level and the next level does not load, again forcing me to restart. Then I start playing Nazi Zombies. Which worked and I play this Majority of the time because its FUCKING awesome since the next scenario sucks.

Oh and I spent over 100 dollars for that game. I bought the limited and I couldn't even play Multiplayer majority of the time. So my 20 dollars was un-needed.

Fucking shitty game. >:O

Thats why consoles are a god send. Games that work first time.. It always amazes me. What other industry would let you release a product that isnt finished? Most games have a patch upon release... lazy devs.

GTA4, sooo average, I bought that on release date following rave reviews. I just dont get all the fuss.

Any survival horror game after resident evil 2. Ive not enjoyed one since.
Streets of rage 3. I couldnt tell you whats wrong with it but it FEELS different, not as good as 2

BF2142, when i bought the game someone had gotten my CD Key off a keygen, so i couldnt activate the game.

I contacted EA and they found that someone with the account Sneak954 had taken it, and since it was not my account they couldnt let me have it, since i couldnt prove i owned it (since i didnt)

So i have to buy it AGAIN.

if anyone playing as Sneak954, FREAKING GIVE ME MY GAME BACK YOU CHEAP PRICK.

but if its just a messup and not caused by keygen, i forgive you.

BF2142, when i bought the game someone had gotten my CD Key off a keygen, so i couldnt activate the game.

I totally forgot: I had a similar experience with Neverwinter Nights 1, except that on the back of the manual, where the nice white box is with the CD key printed on it [/i]was just a nice white box[/i]. Fortunately the shop took it back, I took my money and an extra fiver round the corner and got NWN plus GTA:VC. Victory me.

i had Bought it for a Coop game for my Freind and i (basing how good it would be off battlefront 2 and the things they put in that) found rather fast that there was No point in the coop, it Being Vs each other , no upgrades/ranking, and Trophy issues where i Get the Requirements- and then some and not awarded it
