My personal favorite is macadamia. Mostly because of the skit 'Bulbous Bouffant' by The Vestibules

yes. Unfortunately I then get sick of the word and replace it. Then I get sick of that. repeat until present.

Ones have included: taco, monkey, hippo, yay, no comment, meh, nope, frabjous, brillig, and neh?

Scunthorpe...<.< that is all...
Born in, and raised just outside, Scunthorpe! And it's still funny to tell people where you're from; particularly to Brits, amongst whom Scunthorpe is generally known as quite a rough and grim place.

I tend to get addicted to phrases rather than words, like "On a scale of one to n, that is n" - works best with non-sequiter quantities, like "avocado" or "Chow Yun-Fat". I also append the "-tastic" suffix to words where they don't belong.

I am addicted to using "..." at the ends of sentences and points made.

And am also addicted to saying "beautiful" when someone does something stupid.

"Geniaal" (genius in dutch), "bloody" & "shiny".

We, the dutch, have word for this, we call it a "stopwoord" (stop word). The last one was particularly bad because i couldn't remember where i got it from, until i re-watched some firefly episode.
