Have you ever just finished a game from start to finish in one sitting?

Portal. Nuff said
Indeed...
Indubitably. That one needed to be longer. I think it's the only contemporary game I've finished in one sitting.

I would've finished the WarioWare Smooth Moves on the wii in one sitting if I had let myself.

I like to take my time with games, get the most enjoyment out of them.
Only modern game I finished in one sitting is Flower.

My wife was out of town for the weekend, and a buddy lent me his unused copy of COD4. I was one blood-shot eyes, sore back havin bastard by the time I punched through that game. I also plowed through portal as well. Although this is more due to its short play time coupled with awe inspiring game experience.

I've done this several times. The most recent would be Call Of Duty:World At War. And before that, Uncharted : Drake's Fortune. I started playing it and just got hooked. I said I would go through on hard but i never got around to it.

It didn't take me long to finish Mirror's Edge either, though i imagine that will be the case for the majority of people who played it.

A game that can make you do that is either really addictive, or just generally a fantastic game. It's like a CD. If I can listen to one all the way through without skipping a single track, I know I've found a great CD.

Sadly, I do this all the time.

Gears of War 2 was one 8-hour sitting, along with Dead Space, and a number of other releases this year. I don't usually like breaking up my game sessions, when I really get into a game I will play from start to finish without stopping most times.

Well, obviously Portal...quite a few times.

HL2: Episode 2 was also a 1 sitting game for me. Longer than Episode 1, but I just never got tired of playing.

Crysis: Warhead wasn't 1 sitting, but it was close. I started it Saturday, went to bed, woke up, and finished it first thing Sunday morning.

I also didn't finish Mirror's Edge at once the first time, but that's because I can only take using a console controller for so long before I want to stop. As soon as I got it for PC, I promptly beat it all at once. And then again.

Portal.

HL2, both Episodes. The original HF2 took me three-four days.

I managed to finish Neverwinter Nights: Shadows of Undertide in one play.

Sam and Max games.

Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare

I really wished it had lasted longer but the multiplayer made up for it :D

Several times, I remember one time people were going on about pyschonauts, lauding it as being original and fun, while both were true they forgot to mention that you could finish it in less than four hours, I could have saved myself 43 dollars by just renting it.

That's why these day's where a 60 dollar game only garners 7 or 8 hours of gameplay, I rent more often than I buy.
