Im confused by that sentence.
Do you mean you have no friends?
Do you mean you have no friends that play with you?
Do you mean you have no friends that want to be around you when they think your sick?
I mean I don't enjoy my friends presence.

I can't really start to invite random people though.
Not again
You can always invite me! You're paying the train fare though.

I haven't, but my brother has on several occasions. Every time a new game comes out, he'll work up a fever somehow and have to stay home (oh, darn).

The only times I've ever skipped school are because I had things due that I hadn't quite completed.

I think all of us have gotten sick, and then spent the day playing games...but I'd really look down on anyone who lies to their boss to do so.

If you hate your boss so much you'd break ethics that much over a game, you're probably not in a very good job.

Nope, I was almost going to to get BioShock 2 and Mass Effect 2. I had to travel quite a bit to pick up my CE pre-orders, and I had to pick them up in 48 hours or else my pre-order would drop. Then I discovered a webshop that sold those CE's for the same price (especially the BioShock one is a pain to get) which would also save me buying 2 train tickets. Hence I just pre-ordered them online, and now I don't have to call in sick for work to pick them up.

As for playing them, well as said before, there is this thing called patience. The game isn't going to run away.

I pulled a three day sicky to play Fallout3. Got in 82 hours game play in during those three days... I can tell you my eyes really hurt afterwards and my brain kept thinking I was still playing the game for another two days.

I have never shirked my responsibilities to my company or my family to just play a video game. That is highly immature behavior, in my opinion. Just wait for your day off.

Yes. I did that for Shin Megami Tensei: Persona 3. Plan to do it again for Blazblue: Continuum Shift.

Sure have, took off with my friend for the Halo 3 release, and the Modern Warfare 2 release, but it wasn't about the games, 'cause I don't really like Halo, or MW. They're not bad, but they're not what I really enjoy. But I took off 'cause I hated my school, and wanted to hang out with my friend.

When I was a kid I used to and I never regretted it. It was easy to get away with, just needed to forge my Mums signature and some form and hand it in the next day.

I wagged school for Super Metroid, Lineage 2, Golden Eye and Counter Strike. Good times.
