No, but that's a good idea. I don't think my parents would really buy it, though.

I have, however, faked a stomach ache just to get out of school once. No video games, though.

But half the highschool was empty the day Modern Warfare 2 was released, so I know that if I did I wouldn't be alone.

Never to play a game at release, no.

I've occasionally skipped class to continue playing Smash Brothers against people, though.

No, there is no point, I miss school then I go back the next day/few days then I need to do the work I missed at home meaning less gaming time.
That is the exact reason why I detest missing school. Even if you enjoy your free day, you get hit with a double workload the next time you go in. It is pointless.

Nope, I don't get that excited at the games.

I might have done once. I doubt any more than that. All the games like that I've had the patience to clear out things I have to do the proper way to have uninterrupted game time. I remember my copy of Modern Warfare 2 came early, but I got home around 12 and had some work to do so just played a single mission and put it back in the case. Although the next time I played was when I had some free periods and I got messages from people on PSN saying I shouldn't be missing college for that. Was rather irritating since, again, it was during free periods.

Well, I skip school for 2 days to go to another city because I got tired of it. Dude, to keep your job, go to work games are for intertainment not life, I know how you feel. I did the same thing to be it's a job not school.

Nope. I never did and I probably never will. It's just a video game. Plus: if I take my time playing it, my playthrough will last longer.

Rushing through a video game in one session just doesn't give any satisfaction.

No. It's a little thing called patience.
Where do get it? I think I need some of that, how much does it cost?

OP: Whenever I'm sick I see it as 'Gaming Day".

No. I wanted to when Resident Evil 5 came out but I didn't. I've never been one to not show up at school though, unless I was so sick I felt like I was dying. So...to not go because of a video game would actually make me feel a little guilty.

Yep! I even stayed home to buy a new console, stayed home to buy a new game, stayed home to play them, etc.

I think when I was 11 I faked being sick to beat Kirby Crystal Shards.
Clearly I was dedicated to my school work.

Haha, you guys need to ACTUALLY fake being sick to stay home and play a game? Fuck that, I play whenever I want, and I've got a 3.8 GPA. Now, I need to get back to almost being done procrastinating on my college applications...

While I personally never have, I know some "awesome" guys that called in sick the day MW2 came out (and I got to enjoy the red ring of death). [/morose]
