Far Cry 2 was repetitive in structure, but there was enough variety in how you could approach each mission that things stayed fresh and original.

Crisis Core is repetitive, full of unskippable cutscenes, has one-button combat...and yet it's incredibly addictive and much more fun than it should be.

Demon's Souls is repetitive because you'll die so often. But playing the same level again and again has not yet bored me.

KOTOR gets repetative quick but the only thing that saves the repatative task of htting X is the fact that you choose your dialogue.

Super Smash Brothers Brawl. I would count the other SSB games, but I don't own them and have not given them extensive attention. And, as has been said before, all games are repetitive, just to differing levels.

Welcome to the escapist, in your 10 days of being here you're already on probation. I wont judge or bash you for that though. On Topic. Legendary was good fun for a few weeks, now borderlands, i think CODWAW was a bit same-ey, but i enjoyed that one too nethertheless. Everything above was not supposed to sound mean nor offensive.

Assassins Creed for me. That game is just the same three quests over and over, with the same assassinations, the same waffly dialogue, blahblahblah.
Yet I'm ready to grab a copy when AC2 comes out...

Any of the Harvest Moon games or Rune Factory Frontier. Only in Rune Factory do you truly gain levels, but I love both series all the same. Sometimes all you want to do at the end of the day is sit on the couch and play a melo farming sim.
