what about the whole 'eating weird sewer creatures' thing... infact what about any of the stuff in fallout 3? i mean that game is pretty weird, you can be hit by 3 rockets and you feel better after eating sewer creatues and washing it down with 200 year old biologically harmful poop...captain awesome 12 said:Fallout 3. How in the hell does drinking out of an irradiated 200 year old toilet net you health points?
No thats just the High that Mario gets, makes him Think he's all better.Merteg said:The Mario games. You eat shrooms and flowers.
Why does this end thread? Hiding behind a rock is a lot less realistic than useing a health pack. Health pack have bandages and what not that would actually help. However waiting would just make it worse as you bleed out.HG131 said:[thread]Medpacks[/thread]
Perhaps the healing bacteria err, maybe radiation mutating healthiness no, err, I got nothing. This is probably the most ridiculous after the waiting to get health back.captain awesome 12 said:Fallout 3. How in the hell does drinking out of an irradiated 200 year old toilet net you health points?
Well resistance has the whole whole regen health thing going on, but at least they explain it (mutated metabolism causes quickened healing). Never played a wolverine game but they could prob explain regen health in that as well... games with magic in them, healing spells make as much sense as fireball spells... Vampire the masquerade bloodlines, drinking blood to heal yourself is somewhat consistent with the lore of the franchise.Biek said:So is there any game that has a healing mechanic that DOES sound logical?
Yeh i really liked how resistance explained there healing bullshit method.Pink_Pirate said:Well resistance has the whole whole regen health thing going on, but at least they explain it (mutated metabolism causes quickened healing).
Duh, Bromance conquers all. Even death! The Blue Mongoose said:Gears of War.
Dom: "Urgh, I'm nearly dead..."
Marcus: "No you're not!"
Dom: "Oh, hey! I'm not."
Call of Cthulu: Dark Corners of the Earth I wouldn't say had a realistic healing mechanic but was logical. You had to apply bandages, sutres(sp?) and splints to your various injured areas manually. It worked pretty well and made at least a bit of sense.Biek said:So is there any game that has a healing mechanic that DOES sound logical?
