Welcome to the Escapist. Don't drink the coffee on Friday. Any other day is fine, except there is some risk involved if it is both a Monday and the 17th. If it's a Friday and the 17th, strangely enough, the coffee is fine.

Here's few quick Do's and Don'ts around here:
1. NEVER. EVER. Make a topic asking either "Why does everyone hate ____?" or "Why does everyone like ____?" These topics are stupid because the answer is always "People have their own tastes. Some agree with you. Some don't. Get over it." There. Now you don't ever have to make one of those topics.

This is my first post on this forum and I thought I'd introduce myself to everyone. =)
I don't know if it's something people usually do around here, but being a social and interactive medium I thought it'd be a good idea.

I am a 24 year old boy with some pretty common, if slightly nerdy, interests. These mainly consist of gaming hifi and other electronics.
Actually I work with electronics and all my disposable income goes to the two others.
My guilty pleasures are jrpg's, golf and Justin Timberlake.
Yea, and Yahtzee is totally my hero. I wish to be as well articulated as him one day and if he ever were to acknowledge my existence I would "literally" die.

Now, your turn; tell me all about the local originals and all the latest drama! =)

I have only one plea, very apropos, and that is that you do not become a fanboy of other users. This includes constant-posters such as Furburt and his crew of miscreants. They may seem nice and all, and they probably are, but don't worship them. Please.

You're 24 and can't use proper spelling, grammar or punctuation? Also, why is good grammar associated with Nazism? Or are we rewarding laziness and the debasement of a great language by way of routine now?

Also, hero-worshipping Yahtzee? The man's a lounge entertainer. A very funny one but not the authority on humourous critiquing.

We aren't all speaking english. Some of us don't use it as much as you do. You can point a mistake here and there. Like this:"Thas is so avesome (BTW, it's written like this:"That's so awesome")". All that I ask is to never receive a reply saying That my english is a terrible mess that made every writers in existence to cry simultaneously. Get it?
