2 kids, a dude and his girlfriend, at my high school thought selling pot in my school was great way to make money IN BROAD DAYLIGHT, stupid part is they sold it in front of a fully known security camera in a main hallway and they had 2 bags big enough to drop 1 and a half elephants (think a bag big enough to put in a large baby and some medium toys. you have to carry it around in daylight, you cant hide it anywhere on your person.). Then, the idiot tried flushing the bag down the toilet when the cops came...the bag barely fit into the hole but was stuck in the bowl because it was gigantic. that's not the worst part, the dude had a freaking bong and another gigantic bag of pot in his locker and his girlfriend was using a syringe to do 3rd party piercings on other students. then, the dumbasses wdidn't even know the difference between ecstasy from a lethal dose of crack so they sold it to a druggie and he was in the hospital for 6 months. the drug dealers were imprisoned and expelled. all true, not faking. So don't despair, dude, idiocy in schools are common. look at my real example, does that make you feel better? XD
Now tell me, why do YOU know the difference between crack and ectasy?

If they did, the kids should be charged with murder.
Flat out.

If not, they should still charge the kids for all the money they burned through.
Sorry man, unless the kids knew about the crash, the most you could get them for would be manslaughter. Murder is knowingly (or maliciously) acting in a way (or negligently failing to stop an action) that will cause unlawful death. Manslaughter is the same, but committed without malice or knowledge that the action will result in death.

Course, you sit two kids in a dock, no Judge worth his title will lay the charge of manslaughter against them. The lawyer only has to claim that the school is negligent (they didn't stop the kids the first time), and it's no longer the kids who are at fault.

Personally I'd question the wisdom of directly alerting the Fire department. When I was at my Secondary School (11-16), the fire alarm would go off at least once per term because one of the staff had put a slice of bread in the toaster and forgotten about it.

HA!
Pulling alarm, although devious, is just stupid.
I was the kid who stole anything and everything from the school.
I shit you not, I made off with a desk after I graduation from middle school.
It's in my den right now.
=D
But, back on topic, at least the little shits have to live with themselves knowing they forced people to pretty much die.

I think they should be made to pay back the money and meet the crash victims and firemen so they can understand their actions.

Being expelled is no real punishment for some kids, they just think `yay, no more school` and thus act up again.

They should be made to face the concequences for their actions. I`d personally have them, rather than be expelled, work in the fire station for two weeks...they`d never press that bell again.

Well as Max said. If they died, those guys are killers.

I hate this sort of things.

the students familys should have to pay for the fire alarm pulling, and all get charged with some crime.

Ah yes the old fire alarm gag, you waste everyone's time, including that of the fire department who may dispatch men to respond to a fake fire and be delayed in responding to a real one, fatalities and will happen if a fire isn't responded to and gets out of control. Personally, even if that doesn't happen, I think schools don't punish little shits like those hard enough.

Retarded or not, murder is killing with intent, so this couldn't be charged as murder.

Also if they did die then this would have been a huge story on the news.

Well, I wouldn't say people entirely. I say that if you can prove that you are not a bigot, you can stay in school. Everyone else can go somewhere else.
