I understand it might seem cool to talk with a cajun accent because you saw Gambit do it at the movies the other night, but its really not. In fact... its never cool to type with an accent.

The rumors are all completely speculative right now, I sincerely doubt either of these actors would be casted in a live action anime film adaptation. Of the two, I think McConaughey would probably pull off a more convincing spike. Reeves just doesn't have the ability to pull off a happy go lucky secret badass attitude. McConaughey on the other hand has that roll nailed down. Also, seeming as to how bebop is a western, his southern draw might come in handy.

I mean... can you seriously imagine spike saying "whoa," every 10 seconds?

I take it you've never seen "Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure." That's where it comes from really. He's really not a very good actor. He has trouble expressing emotion. To quote Joe from friends, it always looks like he's "smelling the fart" acting.
