Half Life 2. Even though it's not that bad, it's remarkable mediocrity compared to the praise it receives will help them appreciate good games, and teach them a lesson aboot people liking things for no apparent reason.
I beg to differ.

I would make them play Devil May Cry 3. I don't care if they get carpal tunnel, they'll stop when I say so. They would have to skip the cutscenes, kill every single enemy, and I will offer no help if they get stuck.

Silver Surfer for the NES.

You can come down from your room either when you're ready to say you're sorry or when you've beaten the whole game.
Just pray your child isn't LordKat, the guy who beat Silver Surfer.

Ground Zero: Genesis of a New World.

A terrible fallout clone & a terrible game in general. Terrible! No one deserves such punishment, so it would be reserved for when I'm feeling particularly malevolent.

Not because it's bad, but I make them play Morrowind without any walkthroughs.

It's actually sadistic.
What is wrong with you? Anyway, I'd cheat your system and use the Elder Scrolls wiki. Not a walkthrough per se...

OT: Infected for the PSP, and my sealed copy of Metal Arms for the Gamecube. Without opening the packaging. On hard.

if i had a girl i would force her to play any of the Saw video games
wow responsible parenting much? I wouldnt punish them with a game in a style they wouldnt like, but with a game that was ridiculously boring/hard to teach them that life's not easy and exciting and fair all the time :p something like Overboard on hard mode. Ahhh when hard MEANT hard....
