Well they are still making One Piece, Naruto and Bleach episodes but I would like to see an ending to these types of never ending animes. They throw so many villains in that appear to be immortal that you think they are going to lose, I want to see Naraku obliterated!
Agreed, that's the whole reason I stopped reading inuyasha. I figured: you know, they should have killed Naraku like 5 times now. I have a feeling that they're just killing time for no reason.
One anime I have never liked the ending to was Full Metal Alchemist:
Edward and his dad get transported to the real world making superweapons for the the Nazis? WTF?
I hated the FMA ending, such a poor resolution to such a great series. The movie just makes things worse as well. I'll go off more in a spoiler tab.
I hate the fact that Ed and Al have basically lost everything at the end, we know they fail to stop the A-bomb, because it's history, they don't stop hitler, they don't do much of anything. Why did they lock them in our world in the finale? I just don't understand. It seems like a pointless attempt to have a "dark" ending.
Gundam Seed, they killed MWU, oh wait then they brought his ass back in Seed Destiny, never bothered to explain how he survived, since you see his busted helmet floating in space.
Pokemon, because as far as I know, it has not ended.
It is a fine line to walk really, you never want to see the favorite characters die but sometimes it gets hard to advance the series without it.
Gundam 00 season 2- Not over yet, 9 episodes left I believe, but this is seriously starting to get messed up, the protagonist is turning into a wussy.
The biggest problem when comparing Anime to their Manga cannon:
Animes often use filler as not to trample Manga sales, thus extending the Anime well outside of the Manga Storyline.
So series like Naruto (which has evolved into Naruto: Shippuden) and Bleach have extended non-linear Animes. One Peice has just been on air forever, and it doeasnt seem like it ever took a break.
Furthermore for the main topic in this thread. Japanese culture is incredibly diff from American and European cultures. When reading any JApanese literature, one has to think about the how the peice ended more than what ended it.
read between the lines, Damn americans want all the plot points serve to you on a fkin platter. Its why 24 is borishly popular, the veiwer is aware of everything going on.
complete lack of imagination.

Pokemon will never end because Ash keeps starting over. I mean it's like he trains a team of pokemon that can take on any trainer or pokemon then for no reason at all he starts all over. I mean what if a horse trainer raised a champion horse then shot it after it's first chanpionship for no reason other than he wanted to start over again.
Begins completly harmless, then one of them goes insane, the other becomes pregnant, the pregnant one kills the protagonist, and the insane kills the pregnant one, cuts open her stomach and looks for the baby

Edit: Personally I prefer Setsuna in S2 than S1. He is more mature in S2 than he ever was in S1. And if there is one character turning into a wussy, that would be Allelujah ever since his crazy alter-ego went to "sleep". He is not even getting any damn screen time now, just chilling with his gf =D
fma: - goes from sweet alchemy to nazis and a bombs in like a one episode finale.
+ despite all its crap, and bad movie fin, the manga is holding strong and there going to remake the anime! hoorah!
Code Geass: - solved nothing. oh look at me im king of the world, oh they hate me! i better die to atone for my sins and leave humanity united. guarantee you the first thing that happened after ledouches death was a war for the crown.
+ no more lulu! im so happy now that hees dead.
School Days; - as stated, started of really freakin harmless. like, think barney harmless. Then gets a little ummm cat fight(ish). essentially a ***** slap to your face ending with mutilated pregos and mental disorders. there like 16! omfg.....
+ cant think of any, oh wait...........nope nothin.
Pokemon: - Ash Catchem, the forever young protagonist who somehow literally forgets everthing from the last season except his pet squirrel. I know its for kids but come on, naruto is for kids but was smart by aging the characters and killing them off every now and again. Speaking of which
Naruto: - nothing wrong with the ending, we knew another season wasd coming. But, well, fillers...need i say more?
+good solid ending, good story if you skipped teh fillas, i liked it.
kakashi dies in shippuden and the village gets destroyed *teh fuck?
One Peice: - on going.........after 300+ episodes its starts to get tedius ( not boring).
+ on going......... I love one peice. nuff said. especiall the manga.
Inuyasha: - sucks
+ seshomaru side stories, more my kind of anime. Little girl befriends scary demon. Not horny highschoolers who likes dogs and beastiality...
Busou Renkin(me thinks me spelts it rong): -The moon...really?
+uhhh....
Well, with One Piece you know it's building up to an ending. Well... I know that anyway.
They're about to tackle the final stretch of the Grand Line. I'm just praying the ending doesn't suck.
I hated the ending to Wolf's Rain, even though it wrapped things up reasonably well it made me incredibly depressed. If you've seen it you'll know what I'm talking about. *shudder*
Aw you young people piss me off. You don't know shit about horrible anime endings.
Aside from half the anime movies made before it got all pop cultury over here there was.
X 1999
They all die, all of em. One after the other. Over and over and over again.
or Neon Genisis Evangelion
...I...I just can describe it, but everyone turns into an ocean and there's people yelling at each other in a dark room like some twisted AA meeting from hell.
And at least you get series that ended. *coughranma1/2cough*
