I'm a very lucky person and have avoided serious injury/death on about 3 occasions but the worst injury I've had was when a friend slammed a car door on my head accidentally he claims..

Horse threw me once. One of the only time I got on one, too.
Three stab wounds.
Shall I continue?
Holy shit, why did you get shot?

ON TOPIC:

When I was six I jumped off a "merry go round" ride. I broke my left arm and my left wrist. We called 911, waited half an hour for the reply, only for them to figure out they couldnt go to the place because it was too far. So, my parents had to drive there with an extremely slow car. I had to hold the pain for another hour. I whore the cast for 3 weeks, but since I´m a lefty, I practicly did nothing at school. All the work I had to do was dictated by me and wrote by my teacher.

Once, I did a facepleant on a cement floor. It hurt allot, but at least I got to see some sweet coulors. A bit later I lost balance and sense of distance.

I was attacked by a cat once when I was 10, does that count?
Well if you replaced attacked with mauled then it sure does sound like some serious physical punishment.

I have never seriously injured myself enough to have broken anything though once when playing cricket I got hit in the back of the knee with a speeding cricket ball, stumbled a bit than tripped and grazed almost all of the front of my body except for my face. So much blood...

Fell from a tree as a kid, the ground was soft soil so thats fine but the plank of wood with a nail in it wasn't, went into my chest, it wasn't a very big nail so thats fine and it wasn't too painfull but its the closest i've come to any sort of huge injury.

I was talking to a friend who was sitting in a wooden swing, I was lying on the ground in front of the swing with my legs under it and my right leg propped up on a step. The swing weighed 74 pounds. My friend weighed 229 pounds. the chain holding the swing on the right side broke and they both fell on my knee, which bent backwards. It tore all three of the ligaments as well as splitting my knee cap in half. One hundred and eighty-one stitches, five reconstructive surgeries, 14 months of physical therapy and two dead peoples knee ligaments later...I can walk and run a little but stairs are pretty much out of the question...oh, and at the hospital, they gave me local anesythsia shots into my wound, so basicly, their logic was---"Good lord! That looks appalingly painful, let's stab it with a needle 4 times."

I got into a fight once which left me with bloody knuckles, a massive graze on my left shoulder, split lip and severely bruised ribs. And yeah, you should have seen the other guy.

That said, being shoved up against a metal barrier at Opeth was painful once my ribs cracked. 3000 people pushing you isn't as pleasant as one might expect.
WOOOOOOOO another opeth fan.

Anyhow my worst injuries... Dislocated shoulder.

Misdiagnosed broken wrist. The doctors thought it was just a sprain. somehow a full split in the bone didnt show up on the xray, every now and then my hand seizes up because of this.
Another is tearing medial and lateral ligaments in my knee and destroying the cartlige in there playing soccer at lunchtime. Walked back to my class up on the third story of my school and back to the front office to get some ice. Got rushed to the hospital when my leg went blue from a blood clot =)

ive cracked my head open twice, once almost got my eye, would have been blinded. but yeh, i cracked my forehead and the back of my head open. heres what happened

im 9 and the new monkey bars had been installed at my school, at that age im pretty damn short (still kinda am) so i have to jump up with all my might to reach. well 3rd time jumping and i slip, the stand which was below the first bar was soild metal. my head landed on it and blood when every where, no joke, and although i was young and had just recived a whooping blow to the head, i remained conscious. i was aided by the near-by teachers, its kinda werid when i think about it, i didnt need an stiches.

the second time was at my house during the major renovations to extend the house, planks of wood had been nail gun in place slightly above the ground to base the flooring. well, due ti my ultra irresponsbility i hadnt listened to my parents when they warned me not to walk on them, then shit got ugly, i trips on the edge and face planted right into the sharp edge of the wood, splitting my forehead right on my eyebrow. my dad paniced, running around the house like a physco with no idea on what to do, my sister calmed him down and i was driven to the local docters. heres were it gets funny, since the rather nice american lady that was placing the stiches in my face, didnt put enough anesthetic and i felt here stick the needle right through my face. i recived 5 stiches.

since then i havent recived many injuries

I was once hit in the crotch with a palm tree (difficult to explain, so I won't bother) and my right testicle swelled to the size of a tennis ball.
It took 3 days for the swelling to subside, and another week before I could walk comfortably again.

When I was 6 I was really into Judo. One time, we were practicing break falls and were doing this one where you roll forward. Me and my brother were doing them at the same time and he rolled onto my wrist when it was bent back. I had sprained it, but my teacher wouldn't believe me and made me do 50 press ups :|

Either way this thread is still just post count +1 and an attempt at badges for the OP.

Does anyone honestly care what another anonymous person says about injuring themselves?
I don't think anybody really gives a shit about post count here, thats why I keep coming back. There are a few people who are quick to cry 'SEARCH BUTTON OMG' but they usually end up getting ignored anyway.

As for pysical pain, I broke my wrist and it was pretty damn painfull. The nurse said it was called a 'banana' break, one of the most painfull breaks possible apparently.

most recently,
Three cracked ribs while moshing at a Lamb of God concert back in March of 07' didn't even realize the pain until I got home the next morning and I couldn't breathe very well.

Worst ever,
July of 06' was at a night club when this mexican dude sucker punched me right at the bar I got right back ready to fight back when him and three other dudes threw me to the ground and started kicking me all over they must have done it for like a minute straight until somebody finally broke it up. Ended up with two broken ribs, a broken nose, my jaw had to be wired shut for awhile and I had a disk slip in my spine. The doctor said I could have gotten an organ like my lungs pierced and I could have bled to death internally. So I was lucky I guess.

Still can't remember what caused that dude to just hit me like that? Can't help but think it was something I did wrong,

Did you know that the reason a small pain like stubbing your toe feels worse than say breaking an arm is because your brain recieves the info from the small injury faster than the big ones? Apparently our brains are wired to gives us the feeling of pain much later for a big injury like a broken bone than say like a cut on our fingers because for one adrenaline will kick in for a big injury and also our brains will turn off the pain receptors (sp) to keep us from going into tramatic shock. While on a small injury the area of pain is smaller and so less info needs to reach the brain meaning also there is less need for adrenaline to be used because your brain knows it's not a traumatic injury.

Fucking awesome right?!

Also since we're on the subject this didn't happen to me, but when I was younger my neighbor fell on this stack of T-posts (the posts we use for barbed wire fences) and the spiked end cut into his knee causeing all the fat to come gushing out of his knee. It looked like strawberry yogurt with cottage cheese it was brutal. he started crying and everything and had to get like 12 stiches or something like that it was AWESOME,

I fell down the stairs while I was sleepwalking, broke my nose and got bad scarring on my face.
I was pretty uncomfortable but I don't remember being in much pain.

I've also fallen over about ten-hundred times, so my knees have been wrecked (not the bone but the skin).

I feel I should throw this in on the topic of pain.

Period pain is horrible. For those who have been punched in the kidneys, the pain I get is like the ache immediately after the first blow. For hours at a time. The initial pain wavers in strength on a few minute cycle from throbbing ache, to bearable and back again. Ibuprophen helps, but it's still FUCKING IRRITATING.

I had appendicitis but that prob doesn't count. Once I broke my wrist because I tried to hop backwards with my legs tied together. Bad times.
