Sometimes its just not worth it to risk a friendship in order to get some toothy horse-mouth action, as its been eloquently described above. odds are she does like you, and is just playing hard-to-get. be forward and honest but utterly sincere. do not be cocky. stand out of arm's reach, like on the far side of a table, or on the far side of a horse...
if she does go for it, i give 3 months tops before one of you screws it up, mostly likely by cheating. statistically and all that jazz.

ok well you see, after this year were not going to be in the same school. im going to public, shes going to another private school. so if im going to confront her about it i will wait. all of my friends realtionships crashed and burned because the fudgeholes in my class always went "aww" or "how cute" when they see them together.
