How did you discover The Escapist?

How or why did you find out about the escapist or join it?

I found out after watching X-play. I saw the short "Zero punctuation" clips and was amazed. I tried looking it up on the net and I found this place...

So how did you find out?

How did I discover the Escapist you ask? Well first I recieved a map from the tomb of a long dead pirate, then I travelled over to the destination it marked and began a twelve day escivation as I unearthed this ancient and mystical relic.
Okay seriously, I became aware of it because of Zero Punctuation.

IDK if i can say it was ZP... it was the first thing to bring me here, but it was the forums that made me stay... oh and facebook and myspace suck ass, and roosterteeth has almost no community aspect (its just a big circlejerking contest for the sites providers, not that they aren't cool). You guys seem to be the coolest place on the web.

You are not alone. I remember hearing about the Escapist on 4Chan. I decided to make my home here after being disgusted with the spamming of GIRUGAMESH.
